Sabine struck Lucy in the chest with her fire magic during an encounter. She doesn't remember much, just feeling all the air get knocked out of her lungs and how hard she hit the ground. Lucy finally wakes back up as Lisa is finishing up healing them, and immediately starts hacking their lungs out.
And she proceeded to have a nasty cough for a few months, which eventually got better because Lisa when healed her, she had fixed Lucy's collapsed lungs completely. Unfortunately when Lucy woke up during the healing, she created a bit of a scene which threw Lisa off, and she ended up not healing Lucy's chest. (Not purposefully, more of a 'well now there is more happening' and she forgot about it.)
Anyway this is my long-winded way of saying that Lucy has chronic chest pains that Sabine caused.

Lucifer was the first angel created by God. Her role as God's Light was to ensure peace and stability amongst Heaven and Earth.
After creation of Hell, she dared to question God, her banishment ensued.
As a fallen angel, Lucifer spent a long time in Treachery. She was unable to reach other layers until a spark of connection with Hell Itself. Not knowing what else to do, she traveled upwards, growing closer to other sinners.
Around the time of Lust Renaissance/Insurrection in Greed Gabriel killed her much like king Minos and king Sisyphus.
As the eldest angel, formerly God's Light, her soul defied death and began to form as a prime one. She was imprisoned in the deepest depths of Treachery's frozen lakes.
Much like other prime souls, it was V1 who "helped" free her.
Now she's here on tumblr for entertainment /j

I am still struggling a little with long texts as I used to draw more than to write 😅 and I'm still a little shy when I do
anyways, I finally found time and strength to do this so here we go
Why is your character’s eye colour the way it is? Is it random, or not?
Lucy's eyes are of a deep amber color with a bright yellow tint in them that becomes even more noticeable in the certain angles of the dim lighting. They can even look like they're faintly glowing, when in the dark.
Part of that also comes from her being a succubus - just a small little detail you might not notice at first, but which gives that subtle ''something’s off'' kind of vibe.
(Also, it just looks good. The color contrasts really nicely with her darker violet-ish-grey skin and dusty pink hair in general)
Who gave your character their name?
I already mentioned that before, but her name was chosen by Lucy herself, as due to the memory loss after the escape (she's the runaway succubus from the Abyss) she couldn't remember her real name either. Since strangers often mistook her for a devil (thanks to her sharp horns and a veery long tail), she leaned into their mistake, choosing ''Lucy'' as a playful twist on "Lucifer". The mocking nod to the confusion around her origins also turned into the symbol of her break from the Abyss for her ever since.
Does your character have tattoos? What do they mean?
Lucy doesn't have any tattoos, and she never really wanted any. Part of that is just in a personal preference - she doesn't like the idea of permanently tying herself to a specific symbol or meaning. She'd rather be able to change, adapt, and present herself however she wants depending on a person or circumstances without anything being ''attached'' to her.
There's also a bit of vanity involved. As a succubus, she's VERY aware of how she looks, and she prefers her skin to stay ''clean and perfect'' rather than being ''marked''.
Nevertheless…she absolutely LOVES glitter. Aaand stickers. Way more than she should. Her companions have (more than once) walked in on her mid her ''experiments'' - covered in sparkles, questionable patterns, and fully convinced that she's made an excellent decision.

Gave her a lil silly creechur design! Based off the Jorvik Wild but she's got paws because I decided that she deserved some grippers.
Also instead of horns or antlers I gave her what I like to call "a more Halo-friendly option". All kinds of wild flowers grow in her hair! (rarely on her tail)

Not only does she have a dewclaw, but all of her claws are retractable.
She's got toe and finger beansss
This form is very unstable for her to remain in, in fact, the only time she can remain CONSTISTENTLY in this form is when she is in Pandoria or the Wild Woods. In fact, when she's in Pandoria/Wild Woods, it's hard for her to stay human.
I decided she should look like someone from The Moomins, and I think I AHCIEVED THE VIBE.
The highlights in her hair and tail GLOW. Bitch became a flashlight.
She's got the Nordic rune Dagaz on her forehead, in the middle of the diamond. Dagaz has the meaning "an awakening" and is the balance between light and dark + positive and negative energy. I thought this fit her very well.
Her magic MAY be more powerful when she's in this form, but she has less control over it. In conclusion: Fripp needs to train god.
I've decided she can purr.

Just a flustered (highschool) Lucy after Linda gave her a flower! feat. her and Alex's friendship bracelet (I think Alex taught her how to make them)
Technically, this is the first thing Linda ever gave Lucy!
And later down the road, Linda will be going through some of Lucy's old notebooks, specifically one that was about flora of Jorvik. It's a book where Lucy documented every single plant she could find and the locations in Jorvik they are found in!
And this little flower is pressed in the book, it has a note tied around the stem with yarn. It says the date and "when I realized I really liked her."

I'm not gonna add Linda to this because her and Lucy are dating and,,, you can assume they get along FAIRLY well AHSJDHFKJDFHG also this is gonna be under a read more CAUSE IT'S LONG.
Lucy and Alex are BESTIES. they are BEST FRIENDS. they are INCREDIBLY CLOSE. They met each other in school and it was pretty much platonic love at first sight!
I love writing them together, they are very silly and playfully tease each other CONSTANTLY. The first friendship bracelet Lucy made was the one she gave to Alex! (Alex made one for her, which is actually on her bedside table because it's so worn down, she can't wear it anymore.) Alex was also the one to cut her hair the length y'all see Lucy in her middle and high school drawings!

Anne's relationship with Lucy has actually been kind of rocky. I base Anne's early personality off of the one she had in SSL (I REALLY love her in everything!! Anne is a very special character to me but I really like her silly self in SSL.) But her and Lucy didn't get along too well, and Lucy, obviously, didn't like her.
HOWEVER, they started to slowly grow closer as they had to work together more due to soul rider shenanigans. And then Anne goes missing. And then Lucy gets stuck in Pandoria.
Now, Pandoria is actually a HUGE factor in their relationship going forward. They talk to each other. (IN A REALLY FUCKED UP WAY that is definitely not canon I don't think. I don't remember if she speaks to us from inside the crystal or not, but she does in my hc.)
And strangely bond over their predicament, when Lucy becomes her creechur mode and is FREAKING the fuck out from it, Anne is the one who calms her down.
(there is more to this, obviously, but I really don't want to spoil anything since this is a fanfic WIP.)
After Pandoria, they are pretty much inseparable.

Lucy doesn't have big opinions on Lisa, in fact I would say that Lisa is probably one of the soul riders Lucy's isn't that close to, yet. (Despite knowing her since she joined the rest of the soul riders in their high school.) But they do get along really well, they just never really talk or hang out together.
