I mentioned it before and I’ll mention it again, Error loves food but most of all he adores making it. It’s a trait that I like echoing throughout his lifetime
-Early Cadet Days as 404, he sneaked in the back kitchens one night and discovers all those food the kaminoans ate and Clone weren’t allowed to, and finding cooking logs
-Late Cadet days, he sneaked his squad to the kitchen to show them, even making something he learned from the logs, the team is anxious of getting caught while 404 is in flavor heaven and wants his brothers to try some of the dishes… they eventually do get caught. But it never discouraged him
-Commando days, he made makeshift meals for the team with ingredients from the planets they are on or kept food items in little pouches from previous missions. When times were roughs, a warm good meal usually brought their moral up. His brothers didn’t even mind waiting for him to make sure their mess tins were tasteful for their stomach as for their eyes (as far as limited quantities go during stressful settings)
-Start of the droid days/404’s death, under Dr Anika’s control, he started to forget who he was, following orders mindlessly he’s so deep in the pit and weighted by the guilt of failing his brothers, that he hasn’t thought of food for weeks or months.
-Post Rescue/Error’s new life, Depression spiral, what’s the point ? Doesn’t have a mouth, can’t feel the ingredients in his hands, his plates were once neatly presented and not there’re nothing
- Trying to readjust and getting a new Brother, he almost destroyed the kitchen area of Reg’s workshop, either due to his strength or frustration to not do things right and always messing up
-Until one day, he remade the first meal he even tried. it looks terrible in presentation, worse than his cadet days. But he’s surprisingly calm… nostalgic even, until he realizes he can’t eat it… he almost threw it away until he remembered that Reg haven’t ate something solid in days, mind as well give it to him wouldn’t be a waste and he needs the clone responsible who keeps him alive…. Well, alive
-Today, he’s in change of all Reg’s food and diet, to the poor Clone’s horror (*gasps* his stomach eats other than coffee grounds and space monster drinks ?, the horror). Error has a better control over his hands and his love for food gets revived thanks to the patches (Reg’s creation, allowing Error to feel was he feels) and later on makes little meals for their beloved Lucy, she even shows him a few tricks up her sleeve
-In the future, long after order 66, Error (in an improved ‘bio’ body) making food for his family and the kids, even teaching Junior his trade, really happy to see his son taking a liking to baking, he’s feeling complete
