What do these three oil paintings have in common? All three portraits were painted by Emberto Desoto (signed Oilemberto Desoto). The portraits of Lucy and Desi hang in the Lucy-Desi Museum in Jamestown; and the last known location that I could find for Vivian's portrait was at a temporary exhibit at the Albuquerque Museum in 2014. During the run of Lucy's radio show, "Let's Talk To Lucy" (1964-65), she often met her interview subjects on location at their home's (Gypsy Rose Lee); on the set (Doris Day); or backstage (Carol Burnett). With her, she brought her trusty portable tape recorder and microphones, which are currently on display at The Lucy-Desi Museum in Jamestown, NY.
