We’re on salt bath number 5. His scales looked a little more pronounced today, but he’s still active and normal as ever.

Luda man was on the filter. Over the last two days, despite adding Maracyn 2 to his salt baths, he’s developed a sort of rot and/or fungus, has lost weight, and is looking pretty tattered. He’s still alive but it’ll be today.

I’ve unplugged the filter so he can go peacefully. I’d consider clove oil if I had any one hand, but I used the last on Gordi.

I gave him one more boop and told him what a good boy he’s been for me. This was in his bath last night.

Epsom salt bath #2. His scales are more noticeable but still not as bad as Gordi was.

Fucker is still swimming like a maniac and begging around like “this is fine. I’m not dying. This is fine.”

I hope he’s right.

I’m wondering if we need to vary their food??? They’re on Bug Bytes atm but I’m not sure what else would be good. They get veggies occasionally. Sigghhh.

Currently treating with Kanaplex and Metro, doing big water changes every other day. No Furan 2 because it...went badly with Freckle. Open to suggestions.

Angry, lonely pinecone man eats his medicated cereals.

His activity level remains good, but his scales are still getting worse despite nightly salt baths. Now he has some weird discoloration and fin rot flaring up.

Water changes and keeping him comfortable. all I can do for now, I guess.
