He and Lunae had an undercover mission coming up and he’d had the perfect idea for a masquerade dress for her to wear. His outfit was in the works -- he’d probably just end up wearing something from his other job, anyway.
Once he’d decided to wrap up his excited rambling, Luzio had shocked him completely by speaking those words. His heart thudded within his chest, butterflies fluttering around in his stomach. He smiled, a warm, loving smile, and nodded. He should have known better. Luzio may be hard to read, but he wasn’t ever intentionally cruel.
Without a thought, he reached over and took the other male’s hand in his own, squeezing softly. “Thank you.” He only hoped Luzio knew the sentiment was returned in full.
