Rachmaninoff: Etude-Tableaux Op.33 No.4 in D Minor (Lugansky)
Okay before bed I’m just gonna leave this here
This is my favorite performance of one of my all time favorite piano pieces x_x and my current long-term goal for piano
It was actually this freaking song that kicked my ass a few years ago and, on top of a lot of personal shit, led to me just kinda stopping with the piano x_x
I just love how it alternates between structured/restrained parts and really expressive and emotive parts that almost seem optimistic, before reorganizing into a more structured and solid sounding piece, and then you have the dreamy/thoughtful interlude, before reaching a crescendo and just oy I love Rachmaninoff x_x
Prokofiev /Ten pieces from Romeo and Juliet Op 75 for piano / #10 -selection of Romeo Bids Juliet Farewell
thanks to Lugansky’s nocturne op.48-1 in C minor, my first novel could be written. he is my one and only inspiration.
