Luke and Eugene first date headcanons!

Eugene is the one who asked Luke out. It's wasn't as easy as it sounds though. Lots of back and forth talking to himself. Brainstorming ways to ask him out. LOTS OF DOUBTING.
After talking to the crew of the underworld office, he felt a lot better though. They were super supportive and helped him calm his nerves.
But Eugene still stuttered a bit when he asked Luke out.
Luke.exe has stopped responding.
Eugene took that as a no and started to panic saying it's okay if Luke doesn't feel the same way.
That was enough to snap the Luke out of his trance and say yes.
This causes Eugene to mentally pat himself on the back.
The underworld office cast watch from a distance and are proud of him. Especially Boss hsnshsnh
Eugene has seen Luke melt at the sight of cats (stray or not) and decided to have their first date in a cat cafe (it's a surprise for Luke). They hold hands all the way. Eugene says it is because he needs to lead Luke to the location (it's not).
Luke's jaw drops a bit and he looks at Eugene with an awestruck look. As soon as he enters the cafe, he becomes an excited ball of energy.
Luke resists the urge to hug the life out of Eugene.
Eugene falls even harder for Luke when he sees the latter hold and play with the cats in such a gentle manner.
"You know Eugene? You kinda remind me of a cat sometimes."
That earns Luke a playful whack on the shoulder.
A few jokes here and there with some stories are exchanged between the two.
They don't even realize the time fly.
They practically stay until the cafe closes.
Luke vows to take Eugene out for a date next time.
He kisses Eugene on the cheek as a thank you.
Eugene practically melts. He ain't used to physical affection (His mom is dead and his father neglected him. Even though the ghosts treat Eugene like their own, he is still touch starved. )
Eugene is teased endlessly by River until she gets hit on the head by Boss.
