{Since I got a sad headcanon about sparklings, so do you!} Headcanon: Blitzwing really wants to start a family. But his "condition" keeps him questioning whether or not he should. Mainly because he is terrified the sparkling will end up having split personalities like him.

Kind of. 

Yes it's true he'd be afraid for their mental health, but he's more anxious about spark-merging (my personal head-canon process of sparking). He can't stand the thought of allowing his thoughts to torture another, especially one who would help bear a sparkling for him.
