I needed to stop for a minute and just write. I need to get some things out of my system and I need to do it NOW.
So I've moved to Oporto for almost 2 years now, and I miss my hometown so much. I just miss my family and my friends!
But now this new city is "my city". It helped me grow. It helped me start over. And I've met some pretty amazing people since I got here. People that came into my life and showed me that it's ok to be who I am.
Those people, are now my friends. I don't believe in destiny that often, but this time I think it might have been it's fault.
I have no shame in being who I am because I'm surrounded with good friends. They love me just like I am, and they would hate to see me change.
Those friends are now my pilars, they give me strenght to keep holding on. And as they do so, they also give me a point in my life.
Not long ago, I thought my life was pointless. It's not. I can see it very clearly now. I have a purpose, and even though I'm not sure what that purpose is yet, I still hang on. I still dream. I dream.
Those pilars are now my life. They make me smile when I'm sad. They make me cry when I don't want to. But that's exactly what friends are for. For the good and the bad.
My life is now complete. Because I have my pilars. Because I have my friends. Because I have those people. Because I moved to this city. Because I left a lot behind.
I believe that this is not a dream. This is reality. And I'm happy with the real life I have...
