I'd love to know more about Robin's journey to self discovery please
Well, I feel like Robin just struggled a lot with self worth in his journey.
He felt like if he didn’t like girls then he wasn’t good enough, or he was a bad person.
After the Grabber fiasco, Robin started to talk to Vance about his issues and his identity. Vance told Robin he needs to come to terms with himself and stop hiding from who he is as a person.
Robin told his uncle eventually, though there were a lot of tears on Robin’s end and a lot of reassurance on Robin’s uncle’s end. He said he always knew, but Robin was just grateful his uncle still loved him.
Robin grew to not be scared of who he was, and eventually would hold Finney’s hand in public and let himself be hugged. :)
Robin takes a trip to his parents graves, and just sits down to talk to them and “come out”. Robin hopes that they’d be proud of him, and Robin didn’t fully know, but he swore he felt the warmth of a hug on that cold spring day.
