Feathers Film (3/10) Because our film was in verse we felt the aesthetic should be one that championed strong poses and story beats and so turned to the modern cartoons of the 1950s, 60s and 70s to inform us :) We particularly looked at UPA and their shorts ‘Gerald McBoing Boing’ (1950) and ‘Rooty Toot Toot’ (1951).
