Finding out you're a fan of something that only has 3 posts on Tumblr about it is just...
Ugh.
Time to start making posts I guess.

Thinking about the interactions
The way Rei just wants Aria to smile and laugh and be happy more often an that he realizes watching her with Viv.
The way that Viv and Catcher fought for french fries was so fun, I adored it.
When Aria slid her arm into Viv's, and how relaxed and confident she seemed compared to previous hangouts.
How Catcher behaved in the hospital after Rei got beat up on by six people.
Aria and Catcher making sure that the situation after Rei woke up in the hospital gets handled with (relatively) level heads.
They all just are so wonderful when they interact I'm just so soft thinking about them being friends.

Iron Prince: Pacing
As of chapter 15...
Iron Prince is a long audiobook. Like, over 30 hours kind of long. I try to keep this in mind when judging the pacing, but I do have my issues with it. (Also, there's colored text here and there because i got bored and liked it.)
Today Christopher Keene reviews Bryce O’Connor and Luke Chmilenko's Iron Prince! 🐉
"The book’s formula is almost point-for-point a shonen battle manga, like a sci-fi Naruto or My Hero Academia (and who doesn’t love those?)."

Standing far away from things I didn’t like and muttering at them aggressively was how I’d wasted my first life.

Throughout the eons of human history, men have done a lot of really dumb things to get laid. When you put that into context, going for a ten-mile hike for a first date when you are as athletic as a cabbage probably doesn’t even make the top ten. It is one of the dumbest things I’d ever done personally, but on the grand scale of things, it doesn’t even register.

Yawn. Generic humans were generic. Come on game designers, humans are so many weird and wonderful things, why did we always get such dull racial abilities. Come on! We could heal from almost anything. Why didn’t we get regeneration? We could make friends with wolves and wildcats. Why didn’t we get animal handling? Humans were the weirdest animal on Planet Earth, and somehow, when the time came to make games about us, everyone came up with “oh they can learn stuff.”
