Excitement, and anticipation grows with the beginning of a new semester. Anxiety fills the air like those thick August morning fogs - some say the foretelling of winter snow. We can get caught up in the fervor and quickly become overwhelmed if we are not careful. When this feeling begins to manifest itself I like to go for a walk. It was on such a morning stroll when the water lilies reminded me of the how we shouldn't worry. "Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?" #Luke12:27‭ We have much to be thankful for in our lives. So, when the days schedule becomes like an oncoming Tsunami, stop and remember God is with you. He has made you and will be there with you through it all. Stop and pray and maybe go for a walk.
