Exactly. Like race was explicitly almost never mentioned in the hp series, so we could just imagine it however we wanted. Not ideal, but fine. But those new entries are filled with racism and ignorance... I used to worship Rowling as some kind of heroine, but the fog’s slowly fading? She just needs to drop the franchise and leave it as it was. She’s ruining her own life’s work and doesn’t even realise it.
