(probably more accurately called Siren AU)
Instead of being transmigrated into Shen Jiu, Shen Yuan transmigrates into a random brothel worker. He quickly becomes known for singing unintelligible songs in another language that is weirdly hypnotic to everyone else.
(Shen Yuan is unknowingly infusing Qi into his songs. He also occasionally recognizes people as minor characters from PIDW and uses extra work to translate songs to sing in front of that person to warn them about things that might happen to them)
Shen Yuan’s character becomes more well known as time passes, and one day SQH hears someone humming a song from the modern world, has a mini heart attack, and tracks down SY.
After a private conversation (during which a fan is broken, explanations are given, and SQH is forced to explain what the hell is going on between Shen Qingqiu and Yue Qingyuan (Shen Yuan pushed to understand)), the two start meeting regularly
When confronted by the other peak lords (who are angry about having another peak lord who frequents brothels), SQH ends up confessing he’s going there to meet with a friend who has a beautiful singing voice, and he’s just there for music.
Of course, several peak lords (MQ, LQ, YQ, and SQ) decide to accompany him the next time he goes. Shen Yuan (who at this point is giving concerts or performances at least two times a week, not including private performances) gets a runner that SQH sent ahead, warning him of the approaching peak lords.
However, Shen Yuan, who is currently up to date with everything in canon that happened (and still burning with rage from SQH), decides he’ll give a performance of a lifetime. He’s gonna force these fuckers to face their feelings through his music, even if he has to kill SQH to do it.
