had a dream of this thing, and it was literally presented like a documentary.
like how this thing will swing its tail stinger in defense but mostly as a warning against humans and other large predators. it can shoot the stinger out (and apparently, the pain is comparable to that of a bullet ant + the suicide tree), but it will only survive for 24 hrs afterward.
it's also like, 4 - 5 inches big in the form you see here, from wings to tail. the weirdest part, though, is how the stinger, if not shot out, can actually stay attached and be used for hunting. it's anatomy apparently supports this, with the tail being its form of attack, the legs able to latch on, and the unbending long ass neck being able to eat. it's apparently a hunter of prey a bit larger than itself like birds.
and yes, it did appear as this florescent green colour. no idea if it glows in the dark though
