I wonder why they didn’t bother to explain this in a decent, polite way before blocking like a drama queen. Not everyone is supposed to know RP blogs’ petty and exclusive rules. They act as the center of Tumblr and everyone has to play according their rules. Hey, big news, the main point of this website is TO REBLOG POSTS. If they don’t want it don’t post it or tag it conveniently. Not everyone lives here thinking about them. Duh,

Just the fact somebody creates a tumblr blog (which main point is to reblog stuff) with the intention of sharing but not allowing people to share further is idiotic. How can they be shocked someone shared their stuff?!!! They should have chosen a different platform and not a 100% public network.

Nice to know there are some sensible people around here! As for the “rules”, I just answered an ask about that, nowhere on their rules does it state “please don’t reblog my headcanons”.

Case closed unless I get an answer to my original questions. I’m not a serial post deleter so they can be found any time they want to actually respond to me, instead of accusing me of unrelated things without an explanation or any evidence.

OKAY SPOILERS FOR ANYONE READING ESPECIALLY FOR The Fate of the Tearling

Scenes per book

Queen - all of them TBH but definitely the one on the Keep lawn has to be my favorite where she, like the bamf that she is, frees those people and sets fire to the carriages. and we got to see her from Javel’s POV where she was literally GLOWING like???? #iconic (the other #iconic scene is her coronation bc she pulls Father Tyler to her and goes “i am getting crowned NOW and i don’t give a shit if i die in 5 minutes put that ugly tiara on my head!!!” and Tyler’s scared shitless kfjdhgkjhsf)

Invasion - ok i got goosebumps when kelsea went out on her balcony and she saw her kingdom and all the people are like chanting her name and singing the true queen song like.... wild. another scene is when she takes her four guards to the frontline, literally mind controls them to Not move, and fuckign obliterates that bridge like!! she! did! THAT! OMG the Thorne execution when everyone was calling for blood! it’s what he deserved (others: she HEALS KIBB?????? BRUH; the whole Argive Pass situation. i imagine she like was floatin in the sky makin it rain on those uglies; all the embarrassing interactions with Pen i screamed every time)

Fate - honestly the moments when Kelsea & Evelyn were on the run and ended up on that shed hotel place and like Evelyn BEGS Kelsea to kill her were a Lot. also the part where she literally comes out of someone’s mouth to kill Row and leaves a trail of blood #ICONIC

Queen’s Guard - choosing Pen is such a cop out answer fgjadkfsd so I’m also not gonna choose him despite how much I want to. I would love to get into Kibb & Elston’s history together and separately. They’re a great duo in the book! Dyer is also intriguing. Oh my god! Mhurn’s history is something I’d like to know more about???? He’s primed for some really interesting backstories (those campfire bits alone are enough to get us going).

Ending - I die every time I think about that scene where she sees Pen and he goes “Who’s Pen? The name’s Andrew” LIKE OH MY GOD???? NO?????? That scene with Father Tyler, too, got me on the floor in tears. I think about the ending a lot (and since I’m still rereading Fate rn I’m bracing myself), and the more I think about it, the more I can justify it???? I mean I’ll never be over the fact that Kelsea was crying and Johansen calls it quits. I want our girl to be happy! WHY WASNT SHE GIVEN A HAPPY ENDING  😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 but also it makes sense she would do what she did

I know the feel, really. But I've lost hope in this franchise since it got into Crystal's hands so... no surpise for me. It stopped being about tombs. But as one of my friends pointed out: the film looks better than the actual game. Alicia will surely be amazing she is a great actress. But this has nothing to do with TR.

The movie might look better but from what I’ve heard it’s going to be an altered/twisted version of the game’s story and that’s not very promising. As for Alicia, I totally get why they chose her (altho based on the photos I don’t get the Lara feeling...yet? Idk). I’ve seen some interviews and she seems to talk about the games and Angie’s performance with respect and I like her for that. It really isn’t her fault if the source material’s is what it is or the writing is shit or the marketing is bad or whatever. I’m sure she’ll do her best. As for the games... I do enjoy them to an extent but I could actually enjoy them a lot more if they just stopped 1. calling them Tomb Raider but that would be too hopeful 2. trying to shove down my throat the same damn excuses about why the new TRs and Lara are different (No it’s not a different side of her and it’s not because it’s an origin story. It’s a completely different style of game and it’s a character with a new personality, motivations, backstory and looks. Period.)  3. acting like their work is so revolutionary ‘cause it’s fucking not.

I just had this revelation a few days ago lmao, because we know it’s Kurtis I guess my brain just assumed Lara knew as well or at least had a suspicion. But now I have been thinking about it, how would she know and what made me originally think it? Yes she has seen him before, but only twice in the cafe and the street (three times if you want to count the pawn shop explosion, honestly I don’t think she would have noticed him with her being ON FIRE AND ALL), so I don’t really know how my mind assumed that’s enough for her to instantly know it’s him holding her up? He does it from behind (ahem ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) so all she knows about this person’s identity is the chirugai, and of course she doesn’t know anything about him yet to be able to link it to him.

For me now this puts a whole different spin on the “not kiss”. Honestly it always squicked me out because it always felt so out of place. Before I saw it as she knew Kurtis had followed her around Paris to the Louvre, held her at gunpoint, touched her up, disarmed her, stole her painting, but despite all that she then randomly wants to kiss him?? But now I see it as: she’s pissed off and doesn’t know who’s doing all that to her. When she turns round and sees it’s him, that alone has the ability to make her brain go completely blank, forget everything that just happened, and make her want to kiss him - so her not knowing it was him has totally changed that entire part for me?? (in a good way)

OMG thank you for saying this out loud! I think Tearling trilogy is the only book series where its "teen" main character really acts for their age! I mean.... In these type of books we usually get a 17years old protagonist behaving like a 30 year old. But that's not sth relatable. Kelsea is amazingly flawed character, trying hard to make things right, fucking it up zillion times during that. And let me say she does quite an impressive job for being locked up in the woods

Hiya 😊 Ask about The Raven Cycle series: I've been told multiple times how amazing these books are but... I've tried to read it 2 times but I've always put it down because Stiefvater's word building and writing style makes my head ache. I wanted to ask you if you could write few reasons why should I read these books? I might give it my last chance. Thankies my fellow bookworm💗

well firstable if it’s really not working for you, there’s no reason why you should keep trying. TRC isn’t for everyone imo and that’s completely fine!

but if you’d like reasons to read it and weep here are some!

the best part of that series is literally the CHARACTERS! they make the series what it is!!

Gansey is the sweetest boy you’ll ever want to punch

Ronan is the sweetest boy who will punch you probably

Adam is the sweetest boy who wants to punch someone but can’t

Noah is the sweetest dead boy who can’t punch anyone since his hand would just go through

blue is the saltiest girl in salt town with the most eclectic fashion taste (she’s right about Gansey’s boat shoes tho)

henry (which u don’t get to see until like the third book and fully in the last book) is the sweetest boy who doesn’t understand punching

if you’re struggling with reading it physically i could suggest you try the audiobooks! they’re narrated by Will Patton and he does a wonderful job of conveying that atmosphere and eerie-ness of the series.

there’s lovely best friend psychics (Maura, Persephone, and Calla)

top notch banter between all the characters and it’s really fun to see how their interactions develop throughout the series

the poverty rep is A+ (Adam and Blue are both poor and we see them struggle with money and how that impacts them differently)

some weird shit happens in all our dreams and Ronan takes it to a whole new level like wow dude i thought i had weird dreams
