         i hope you’re ready bitch he has a lot!!!  lucifer being the only person he has ever had to form an opinion on and get to know organically,  without his abilities,  makes things really unique for him.  she’s already a bit unpredictable of a person and with him not having any way to really familiarize himself in a way that would make it easy for him to recognize patterns,  he’s kind of just left never knowing what to expect.  but he also kind of likes that?  it’s different and she really intrigues him. 

initially,  he sees her kind of as a savior and a new place to put his loyalties.  and honestly no matter how close they get that won’t really go away.  because of his life and the way he’s built,  he’ll always see her as someone he owes for giving him a second chance.  he’ll do anything she asks him without argument or hesitation.  but that’s something that very quickly shifts from being obligatory and a result of his very programed brain,  to a genuine want.  he’d do anything for her because he cares about her.  and because he knows she would never use him the way tantalus did. 

even if he can’t sense her,  he’s still good at reading people and he tries to get a read on her sometimes. and honestly he just mostly sees someone who is lonely and tired after the bullshits she’s been through.  he respects her for what she is and understands very much that she is a powerful god.  you know lucifer herself,  but he isn’t ever really afraid of her.  he thinks she could use a friend  (  and you know more *wiggles brows*  )  and he wants to offer her that.  not just out of those same obligations he’s felt,  but because he’s just genuinely drawn to her.  and he doesn’t really have friends either so he could use one too.  he just honestly wants to make her feel appreciated and wanted because he knows what it feels like to go without and to feel abandoned or ostracized. 

he also finds a lot of who she is kind of endearing.  just the way there are things on earth that she enjoys even if she doesn’t need it,  like with food.  he enjoys trying to learn more about the things she’s interested in.  he just wants to make her smile 😤 he trusts her and is truly in awe of her.  like she could be cruel and selfish,  she could be exactly what all the lies about her throughout history has said and he wouldn’t even blame her.  but she isn’t.  she has all that power but still has humanizing parts of her and there’s compassion there.  enough to give a shit about someone like him and he just :’) thinks she’s neat

            Lilith has just gotten done cramming   meat into her mouth. Raw and juicy the blood drips down her chin. It’s in this visage that Lucifer finds her. Crouched and animalistic, feral as the day she was created. Energy is recognized though body is not. Lilith tilts her head curiously, no qualms about looking the woman over from head to toe. Head tilts the other way then meat is offered up.

it sits inconspicuous on a bedside table, almost easy to miss. it's a simple black leather-bound notebook, with a refillable fountain pen resting on top. when you open it up, the first page has the following text on it, presumably written with the fountain pen: for new memories. happy birthday, Luci

              he keeps his home neat and orderly,  everything arranged perfectly.  so it doesn’t take much for him to notice something knew.  and even if he can’t sense her energy on it the same way he could others,  he has a feeling he knows who it’s from before he even picks it up.  even still a soft smile graces his lips when he reads the inscription.   it’s perfect.  he can’t help but think she’s perfect.

       ALL THE PEOPLE LIVING INSIDE of her were especially chatty that night and amelie honestly wasn’t in the mood for it. mostly, she didn’t like ignoring them. sometimes, it was just unbearable to even try and make out what they were saying. not to mention how a lot of the times it wasn’t even anything IMPORTANT. it was just a lot of non-sense. 

      she was doing a good job of ignoring it until she saw HER. to anyone else, probably just a completely normal young woman with a set of very unusual eyes --- but otherwise ordinary. except amelie somehow KNEW she was anything but. they all started gasping and SCREAMING at once in her mind, and amelie started moving towards her before she could even catch herself.

      probably a strange sight. amelie, in her skimpy lingerie, approaching one of the employees in charge of cleaning rather abruptly and energetically. ❝ excuse me. ❞ she paused.  ❝ where do i know you from? ❞
