Blitz is a young, naive and unseasoned warrior of the Autobeasts. As their newest member and truly the youngest of them he has a lot to learn to become the renowned member he strives for. He is currently a scout for the group and uses his tactical speed as an advantage to gain information on enemy installations and intelligence. He is proud of his power and abilities and because of this, combined with his greenhorn status, he often gets in over his head. Thankfully, the rest of the team is always there to help bail him out. Additionally, this new recruit has plenty of energy and is always excited to get to work; brining a much needed positive aura to the team. Blitz is an honest and hard working bot who truly means well and gives it his all every time; and he is improving in leaps and bounds.
Once a simple, soulless earth vehicle but; through Lumerian means, Ratchet’s cybertronian anatomical knowledge and Knockout’s perfected Synthetic Energon formula Blitz has been given new existence. Yet another successful life fashioned into being thanks to the “Autobeast Project”. While already coming into being with a Neurocluster full of data on The Great War, Blitz still has much to learn and struggles from time to time due to this Greenhorn status. He is always raring to prove himself in any and all situations, even if he isn’t nearly ready for them. Thankfully, he was brought to life years after the conclusion of The Cybertronian Civil War; which had given him the ability to learn and train before being actively deployed.
His origins come from a scrap yard where his damaged vehicular body was resting and awaiting recycling. With the Autobeast Program still active long after the end of the Cybertronian war a Unit E agent came to the yard to peruse. The Autobeast team had been in great need of a scout, having been bolstered with heavyweight tank fighters already. Their eyes came upon the shattered Honda Civic and felt the small and lithe frame to be just what was needed. The remnants were taken back to base and remodeled with Cybertronian biology thanks to Ratchet and fueled with Knockout’s new synthetic energy. Giving rise to the spunky blue pseudo-Cybertronian.
-head desk- It’s my blue boy, god I miss him so much. This character has had concepts sitting around for nearly 10 years before I decided to finally settle on one and revamp him. This guy is based on my, now gone, 2016 Honda Civic. I called him Blitz because of the sheer static shock I’d get hit with when entering the vehicle in the winter. Lost this guy nearly a year ago to a deer. I’m thankful for my new vehicle of course, as it’s great and a much needed change. However, I still miss the little blue guy from time to time.
I just want to add that I LOVE how the blue turned out on him!!! Blue’s my favorite color, hence why I got Blitz in blue, and to see it replicated how I wanted is just so amazing. My boy lives on now!!!
He has full metal plating but I didn’t feel the desire to shade his whole body because I was worried it would take away from or be too much for his simple headshot. That and I had ended up shading his Honda symbol (the only piece I recovered from the blue guy after he was totaled) and I wanted that to stand out against everything else.
