You can call me Divinity or Haven, whichever you prefer! I’m a hobbyist, self taught artist. I spend most of my time designing new characters and continuing to expand my massive Multicrossover story through world building. Though my favorite thing to do is design characters and then never draw them again, because I make them too complex.

You’ll mainly see art of my ocs from my original Multicrossover series, Chronicles of Light. Which is eternally in WIP as I develop more for it. This series and its core characters have been developed gradually over the last 10-12 years, between all my schooling and real life. Though the very basic ideas and main character were first developed when I was 5 years old.

Chronicles of Light takes my original world and characters and connects them to various other series, utilizing the multiverse theory. So you’ll likely see my ocs alongside some canon characters. Thanks to spending well over 10 years developing this series and the ideas of how characters meet and travel to each other’s worlds and universes, there is a rather seamless and realistic way the storyline all connects. So sit back and enjoy the information and stories of my characters and sometimes their wacky antics.

Yea boy it’s Boothill Day!!! I suck majorly for not having any art ready though. So instead I’m doing a retrospective on the last two years and just how Boothill has impacted me from an artistic standpoint.

I will say that I’ve seen people talk about how much BH has meant to them and impacted their lives. I don’t have a story like that to tell. My life, comparatively, has been simple and I haven’t had to face such challenges so I don’t have anything meaningful to share. Unless it counts that BH was a source of joy for me in a very toxic work environment for the last 2 years? So it will just be how he has helped me as an artist. 

Now, I have dabbled in drawing humans once a while ago and was shit tier at it, so I gave up really quickly. I just didn’t have the patience for it, I wanted my art to look good and when it didn’t (of course) I was so defeated I didn’t try again. Just stuck to what I was good at, animals and dragons. Then comes good ol’ 2024 and I get recommended on YouTube a video about HSR and it’s Boothill’s leaked animations. Well, as we all know it was all downhill from there. 

Boothill as a character is so well written and so interesting to me. There is so much symbolism in nearly everything he does and says and it’s truly wonderful. I don’t think I’ve ever grown so attached to a character so quickly as I did with him. This enjoyment of his character is what gave me enough determination to finally try drawing humans again. It was quite a rough start because humans are so drastically different from what I’m used to. But I decided to finally buckle down and show my love of this character through my art and through the hard challenge of learning something I’m not good at. Funnily enough, it’s been working. I’m better at humans now than I was two years ago and, while I still have a long way to go, I still take some pride looking back on this journey. I mean the difference between the two images above is pretty obvious, and I’m still not drawing humans as much as my dragons. So how much more will I improve next year?? I’m eager to see what happens!!!

So thank you space cowboy for motivating me to take on my biggest artistic challenge!!

I LOVE how you drew the and I can’t stop staring at this piece because it’s just so soft and gentle. Also how you depicted the emotion and joy is just -chef’s kiss-, seeing Boothill being so happy gives me so much joy ;w; . He just looks so full of love in this picture and it kills me in the best way.

Boothill is so full of love and I will interpret this quote in a different context, which allows me to explore how deep down he wants to love until it hurts, all I want. This man is so full of love in all its different forms. Love for his family that fuels his revenge. Love for humanity that fuels his righteousness and defense of the innocent. Love for others that fuels his undying loyalty.

As stone faced, mighty, and stoic as they come Vry is the ideal of every Lumerian soldier. She’s strong willed, assured of her power, and utterly confident in all of her abilities. She isn’t much for small talk and only speaks when it’s needed or when something important must be discussed; preferring to let her actions talk instead. Vry is very dress-right-dress and has a zero tolerance policy for horseplay, breaking or even bending codes of conduct. It’s well known that they run an immaculately tight ship and their orders are followed to a “T”. Because of this Vry has made quite the intimidating image for herself, with other Galaxa corp recruits constantly whispering their fears of getting assigned to her warship. 

It doesn’t help that her silent and cold demeanor result in an imposing figure that seems unapproachable. Whenever their visage appears it always commands the highest respect. However, while many think maybe Vry is like other generals and is secretly soft on the inside, this isn’t quite true. They are still relatively callous and frigid even on the inside, but this is the result of all they’ve seen and suffered through. Ultimately Vry’s strict commands come from a place of care for those under her; as she knows what happens when regulations aren’t followed to. Only through strict adherence to commands and regulations can victory be obtained and casualties minimized.

-head desk-GOD!!! I LOVE THIS DESIGN SO MUCH!!! This is by far one of my best. I haven’t had this much fun with drawing and character’s color palate in a long while (other than Lumera of course but still). This is also one of the few times where I spent a lot of time working on the finest details to make sure it turned out perfect. Like I spent a lot of time tweaking the northern light on the frill and adding finer details, but it was so much fun. I'm excited to flesh out her full body ref.....eventually.

Though even now there are things I would like to improve on, notably the northern light bands as this was my first time drawing them.

Yesterday marked TWO YEARS of loving the Cyborg Space Cowboy holy shit.

I mean NO JOKE when I say this. But I had seen BH’s leaked animations ONCE a couple days prior because I sent that to a mutual who had a cowboy oc and went “what about your oc in this outfit”. Because for some reason Youtube recommended me his videos when I had never watched nor played HSR prior.

I had a dream the night before and Boothill was in it and then I woke up and went “awww fuck I LIKE LIKE him.”

Thus started my glorious hyperfixation. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Dragons in CoL actually hoard or collect gems, ores, stones, and metals for nutritional reasons. Sure it’s neat to have such fine pieces in your collection but it is also cool that they double as a healthy part of the diet!

Gemstones help with the quality and shine/health of the scales. While metals help with the hardness/thickness of a scale. Improving overall scale quality like fish oils would a dog’s coat!

How many times have we literally said that Boothill is so full of love. His love for his family is his whole reason for going after the IPC for the lord’s sake. If it ain’t obvious already that this man is so loving and still so very human than I don’t know what is!

also him talking about finding other people who need companionship and love (platonic or otherwise) and giving it to them is actually really telling of a latent desire to continue living beyond his revenge quest……at least to me that is….like this is an obvious confession that he plans to keep going and doing right by people. ALSO THIS IS SUPER FOUND FAMILY VIBES DUDE. That’s found fucking family material if I’ve seen it.

Edit; Maybe Boothill confessing about love is because he doesn’t think he deserves to be feeling it or to have it because he doesn’t see himself as human…..-shakes fist- He will see the light I swear to god! He deserves everything.

Edit Edit: Even if he’s talking about killing, it’s likely IPC and that’s still fueled by his love for his planet and his family. Also giving “love” to those who need it could also refer to killing bad people for those oppressed by them. That shows a love for humanity and a desire to fight for it. Still telling of a desire to keep fighting for the meek and defenseless even after his vengeance is claimed. So either way I still win :)

How my Boothill pulls went last night!!!!

So I drew a whole shit post for this and apparently it fucking worked which I don't know how to feel about 8'D

I got him on the 20 pull and he was the first pull of that ten set

Then I pulled again, immediately after that anddddd

ON THE FUCKING 30 PULL RIGHT AFTER!!!!! I sat there like "No way I get him again" and I FUCKING DID

Alsooooooo, I then pulled again and immediately got another 5 star.

I would have lost my mind if it was Boothill again. But still THREE FIVE STARS in a row is damn good for a ftp player

I then went on to pull some more (forgot how many it took because I was just so elated already) anddddddd.....

GOT HIM A THIRD TIME (I think this was hard pity as I said I cannot remember I lost track after the back to back BH pulls)

After all of this I went on to pull for Boothill's LC

GOT IT ON SOFT PITY!!!! (last rerun I lost that shit to Gepard and was so upset)

All in All, this was a fantastic run holy shit.
