The woman takes in a deep breath as she makes her way off the Crest. Din wasn’t supposed to be back for hours but there had been noise outside meant something was up. Normally she would have dismissed it but whatever it was just kept coming. She grabbed a blaster and heads out holding the blaster in front of her. “Whoever it is you’ve got one last chance to leave. I have a blaster and I will shoot-”

As soon as she saw who it was though she lowered her blaster in awe. She had spent so much time  looking at that little face how could she not recognize it? It wasn’t so little though he was taller and looked so grown up. “It can’t be..... Grogu?” He doesn’t have to indicate it she’s already put the blaster away because she knows it’s him.

“How- how is this possible? Look at you you’ve grown so much.” She says her hand is shaking as she reaches out to touch his face. It had only been a few weeks since they had last gone to see Grogu so this was something else, something to do with the Force. She doesn’t care what it is though he’s there so she takes him into her arms and gives him a big hug. “I’m so happy to see you I’ve missed you so much, little one. Whatever the reason I’m just so happy to have you home.”

　　　　A garrison of separatist droids marched underneath a tri-droid, all of which were firing at those who were outside the shield protecting the canons. They were too close for the canons to fire upon and were about to enter the shield. Once they did, they could easily blow apart the only things keeping them from being completely overwhelmed.

　　　　“Keep me covered as best you can!” Padme shouted over the cacophony of blaster fire. She reached out a hand, her eyes closed as she honed in on the tri-droid through the Force. She could feel the energy from its power source buzzing through the monstrosity’s circuits. She reached out above it and with all the strength she could muster, squashed it. The droid crumpled under the pressure, crashing into the garrison beneath it and destroying them all.

“Grogu?” The name falls off Mando’s lips without hesitation. He hadn’t expected to run into him again so soon after having just had to say good bye to him. He looks up from the small little guy then to see the jedi who had taken him away for training standing beside him. Feelings of confusion washing over him.

“I thought you were taking him to train him? Why are you here?” He addressed the jedi.

“I’m sorry the place is freezing, the heating went out last week and I’ve yet to get the parts.” She commented as the newcomer boarded the Silver Bullet. “The whole ship is falling apart.” She admitted, sighing through her helmet.

Her white jacket fluttered in the wind and she held the papers tucked under her arm closer to her chest. The fluttering trees cast a spotted shadow over the nautolan’s freckled and smiling face. “What are you doing here?”

        unfortunately, he was lost. he’d never been on this base before, and master tapal was elsewhere on jedi business. he didn’t know any of the clones well enough to stop and ask for help, so there he was, running like a madman through the corridors. he was about to reach his top speed when his boot hit a puddle of soapy water, sending the boy flying and falling flat on his back, knocking the wind out of him. ⦒

Nightmares have been an integral part of their lives since the war began. They lost brothers, saw civilians die, were wounded, and saw terrible things. Not surprisingly, this then followed them into nightmares. Worse was the only one of them - the one in which they killed their Jedi. Cody wondered if Ace, who had become a Jedi himself, had seen this nightmare. But he will not ask him about it. Ace is still very young.

Cody let Ace climb into his bed and covered him with a blanket, then hugged him.

"I'll look after your nightmares for you."
