recently feeling frustrated by the (unsurprising) lack of women in Call of Duty
anyway my wlw ship for MWII is Luna and Calisto
They're on opposite teams so they're supposed to not like each other but any time they cross paths Luna's like "omg it's Calisto" and everyone on Specgru just rolls their eyes. They can all recite Luna's little info dump speech about how cool Calisto is and how she uses a bow and arrow and could have gone to the Olympics for that but non-moving targets are too boring for her.
Calisto, who is still figuring out her sexuality, is confused by the adoring looks Luna gives her. Like sure, people look at her in awe all the time because she's so beautiful and talented, but this is different. And it makes her want to impress Luna for some reason. She starts getting defensive if Kortac members bad mouth any Specgru Ops Luna might have been on. Heaven forbid someone say something about Luna specifically; Calisto will glare them down until they apologize and/or leave.
Has Calisto acknowledged her feelings and change in behavior around Luna? Has Luna actually approached her outside of work settings? Of course not! We're still in the pining stages baby! What's a good ship without a lot of pining!?!

(side note - i feel so weird calling a woman “ma’am” because i call my actual mother “mam” and the pronunciation (the pronunciation i use for “ma’am” anyway) is literally the same)
