A/N: Told y'all I would be back with more Eremin family brainrot! This time it's with more info about Eremin's little gremlin daughter, Luna.

Luna was adopted about four years after Eren and Armin moved into their own place following their college graduation. They both wanted a child but it took so long for either of them to voice it because they weren't sure if the other would want one (communicate boys, istg 🙄). Eren and Grisha have always had a complicated relationship and Mikasa's older cousin Levi often took the reins of a father figure, so Eren thought that it would be nice to give that same guidance and care to another child in need. Meanwhile Armin wanted to share the highs and lows of everyday life with a tiny human and raise them alongside the love of his life.☺️

Eren and Armin were matched with an expectant mother who was planning on putting her daughter up for adoption. Armin handled most of the adoption paperwork and even secured a spot on some preschool waiting lists (because it’s never too early for that). Eren took charge of the babyproofing and putting all the nursery furniture together, a process everyone could gage by how much swearing he did.

Armin originally wanted to make the nursery ocean-themed, but there were so many cute animal-themed items at the baby store that he just couldn’t resist the safari theme. He and Eren worked together to paint the nursery green and may or may not have had a flirtatious paint-flicking fight😙. They filled the room with a bunch of cute stuffed animals, a dinosaur mobile, and a whale-shaped rug.

The new baby Yeager, with her soft dark hair and brownish red eyes, was initially going to be named after Carla, but there was a super moon on the night of her birth. Armin thought that the name Luna would be a much better fit to remind them of the night she was born and how he and Eren will move the tides themselves to keep this tiny light of their lives safe and loved (Eren knew it was mostly because Armin is a massive Sailor Moon fan and wanted to name their daughter after a talking space cat, but he didn’t want to ruin the moment).

The textbook definition of a bouncing baby girl. Baby Luna was always giggling and cooing up a storm to the point where it was hard not to feel happy in her presence. She started crawling insanely early, moving up from a zombie drag to walking on all fours like an alligator. It's adorable to watch.

Not so adorable is how her dads have to watch her like hawks because with this new locomotion came an adventurous streak a mile wide. Luna wants to explore every inch of the house, every inch of her aunts and uncles’ houses, and every inch of every neighborhood in the zip code. This girl inherited the Jeager predisposition to being a menace. She enjoys scattering the contents of boxes and drawers and cabinets all over the place, tossing objects from the top of the stairs to see if they bounce, chewing on everything she can get her hands on like a workaholic beaver (teething was especially bad), and giving her daddies heart attacks by climbing up to high places.

Eren does a lot of skin-to-skin contact with Luna, lulling her to sleep with the warmth of his skin, the rumble of his voice, and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. Luna’s big ruby red eyes blinking owlishly up at him never fails to tug at his heart strings. He has to be careful when doing this since Luna often forgets he can't give her milk from his chest. RIP Eren's nips.😔

Armin shared his love of reading with Luna from the minute she was brought home. He reads her all the childhood classics; The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Where The Wild Things Are, and his own childhood favorite, The Journey of the Noble Gnarble. He helps her sound out the words even when all she can do is babble and won’t turn the page until she's done looking at the pictures (she will protest very loudly if he tries to flip too early).

Armin’s favorite thing to do with Luna besides story time is giving her baths. When she was a newborn, Luna would happily lie in the baby bath while Armin gently wiped her down with a wash cloth. Then once she was old enough to move to the tub, baths became filled with splashing, bubble hats, and a bunch of plastic sea creatures.

Luna's a huge chatterbox and babbles on and on to anyone who will listen. It’s something Eren and Armin encourage by talking to her as much as possible and making little nonsense songs out of her gibberish.

Her first word was "t- rex", although really it was more of a "dee rex!". Her second word was “chit!” in an imitation of Eren after he cut himself shaving and the third was a very loud “FUCK!!” in the middle of the night when she wanted attention.

Didn't start walking until eighteen months, but I won't say how because I want to save that for a future story. But it was both very cute and very hilarious. 😄

Terrible twos TO. THE. MAX. She’s feisty, overflowing with energy, and very determined to get what she wants. As much as Eren and Armin wish they could give their little girl the world, they don’t want her to grow up spoiled and so have to put their feet down a lot with her. Whenever Luna gets frustrated, she’ll throw herself on the ground and shriek like a tiny, scruffy-haired banshee. It gives her dads a headache but they’re making sure Luna learns this is no way to get what she wants.

As she gets a little older, her tantrums give way to hyperactive sweetness and she's more concerned with running around being a sentient tornado in Marvel t-shirts. She's got Eren’s stubborn spirit and Armin’s curiosity and sharp wit. But she’s a lot more sarcastic than either of them were at her age (the by-product of growing up surrounded by a bunch of snarky twenty-somethings). Luna spends almost all of her time outdoors and getting dirty while trying to make friends with every animal she sees. Especially reptiles. She LOVES reptiles.

Pretty much the only time Luna sits still is when she's reading. She goes through books like crazy and got really excited when she figured out how silent reading worked. She ran up to her dads like "Daddy! Papa! Watch this!" *cracks open a book and is quiet for a few minutes* "DID YOU HEAR THAT?! I READ IT IN MY HEAD!!!😁" and they're like "Yes, you did, munchkin! That's so cool!🥰"

Luna was Eren’s little princess as a baby and she still is now. He roughhouses with her, gives her piggy-back rides, and cuddles with her when playtime is done. He's very much a Bandit Heeler parent who goes along with Luna’s games and the bizarre storylines that spring from those. It’s to the point where the neighbors don’t even bat an eye when they see the 6'0 guy in the manbun running around the yard like a Viking who just robbed a thrift store. Eren’s also trying to ensure that Luna is better at managing her temper than him.

There is nothing Armin wants to do more than to nurture his daughter’s curiosity. He encourages Luna to ask questions about things she doesn’t understand and always explains to her the reasoning behind rules instead of just leaving it at “because I said so”. Armin will give all the critters Luna catches a once-over both to observe them and to check if they have any injuries. If Luna fusses about letting the animals go, Armin will tell her that they have homes and families they need to get back to and they set them free together.

Luna’s hair becomes longer and shaggier as she grows into a girl. Armin says it looks like a bunch of squirrels on amphetamines had a breakdancing party on her head. She hates getting her hair cut but finds having it brushed relaxing.

Both her dads interests are also rubbing off on her. Eren introduced her to heavy metal and horror movies (not the really intense ones, but still, oml sir why are you letting the four year-old watch zombie movie clips?!💀💀) He knows how much she loves dinosaurs, so he watches the Jurassic Park movies with her and gets her more dinosaur toys than she knows what to do with. Then Armin got Luna hooked onto anime with the classic gateway drug that is Pokémon, then the Ghibli films, and they set up a playlist with anime songs together for the car or just to play around the house. When she’s a bit older, Armin will introduce her to some titles from a bunch of different genres so she can choose what she likes.

Fat Luna

I think we should talk about fat Luna. 

Luna is my all time favourite Harry Potter character, and in a book series which, despite its special place in my heart, is deeply and inherently fat phobic, I take great delight in reading Luna as fat. 

Luna experiences so many things that many fat teens deal with daily. She doesn’t fit in with the ‘norms’ of society so faces social exclusion and bullying. Many of her opinions and talents are immediately discredited because of the ‘weird’ way she looks. She spends a lot of time alone with herself and when she becomes part of a group of friends she takes her responsibilities as a friend incredibly seriously. 

Luna is brave, intelligent, resourceful, loving, insightful, compassionate, enquiring and loyal.

She is also fat. 

Evanna Lynch is great, but lets begin to reject the concept of the thin, ethereal pixie girl and embrace Luna taking up space in the world. She deserves it.

alright since everyone is throwing the “omg will and/or nico could die in tower of nero” crap around, it’s high time i posted the Big Theory i’ve had ever since the hidden oracle

SO. a thing i noticed every time will and nico showed up in THO, apollo had some weird waxing poetic moment about his relationship with hyacinth bluh bluh bluh. like oh look at my son he and his boyfriend are so cute i miss my dead boyfriend etc. also the hyacinth flowers that randomly showed up in the apollo cabin after he passed out for whatever reason. i have a feeling this is Significant.

now, let’s take into account that rick LOVES making allegories to other myths with his characters (see: silena literally being the patroclus to clarisse’s achilles in TLO). so here is where my theory comes in:

in TON, something will happen that will put will or nico in mortal danger. let’s say nico since everyone else is convinced it’s gonna be will. apollo, being extremely aware of the comparison of himself and hyacinth with will and nico, does NOT want will to go through the same pain that he did when he lost hyacinth :( so. SO. instead of history repeating and nico taking a discus to the head or what have you, apollo takes the blow for him. AND because of that selfless act, some of (if not all of) his powers come back and he wrecks shop. thus: will and nico are safe, apollo is (partially) in godmode, everything is fine, nobody dies, the ship is not broken up, etc etc

anyway this is just a prediction/theory (a gAMe ThEoRY) but it would not surprise me at all if rick pulled something like this. he can’t kill off the canon gays cus do you guys realize how much backlash he would get?? plus HASN’T NICO SUFFERED ENOUGH ALREADY JFC let the boy be happy and gay with his boyfriend gdi

According to the wiki, Misa Amane has a younger brother (in the film series) and an older sister (in the manga). Do you have any headcanons for them? What they get up to, what they think of their sibling, how they reacted to the deaths of their parents? I've only read a few fics that even remembered the fact that Misa has a sibling at all, and it mostly made them into Sayu-expies.

I have zero headcanons about the film series, I don’t actually like the first three movies of it at all. Misa’s manga sister though....

Her existence is debatable since she is only brought up in this staged interview and used as a reason for Aiber to know about Misa’s Kira-follower ambitions. It’s perfectly possible they made the existence of such a sister up. I can see it go either way, but I am a bit biased towards that sister existing since whether or not such a sister exists would be fairly easy for the Yotsuba guys to check. Why risk making a sister up only to have them find out no such person exists?

So let’s assume the sister exists. 

Misa is 18 when her parents die and the sister is statedly older than her, so I assume her sister has already moved out by that point. Her and Misa seem estranged - Misa never mentions her as significant family she has left, she treats her parents’ death as the end of her family. Misa and her are also never in touch. That makes me think her sister already moved out when Misa was a young teenager and the two of them weren’t on that good terms. They kept talking out of a sense of obligation and because they both lived in Kyoto, but as soon as Misa left for Tokyo, they dropped out of contact completely and forever.

I think of Misa’s sister as someone who took the death of their parents way harder than Misa despite not having been as close to them as Misa was. In my headcanon, her sister had a dicey relationship with their parents even as a kid while Misa was the youngest and sweetest always. Her sister was more rough around the edges as a person and left their house as soon as she could.

Misa always thought her sister was kind of a drag who was pulling the mood in their family down, so she’d been glad when she moved out.

When their parents died, her sister took it harshly that she never could reconcile those conflicted feelings she still harbored. It made her mental health decline significantly. Her sister resents Misa for keeping her bubbly personality and dealing with matters by pushing forward, while she dwells on things so much and is so tangibly held back by her feelings.

If he runs into someone under the mistletoe, Gladio will kiss them, regardless of who they are. He'll ask permission, of course. Not surprisingly, all of the Chocobros have agreed the first round, and now make a big dramatic point of skirting around the plant if Gladdy's there.

Ravus and Aranea make it point to both be under the mistletoe with him, prompting Ignis to immediately take down the sprig as Luna and Prompto passed out from embarrassed cackling.

Luna and horses headcanons? (hey, Eos has normal cats and dogs, no reason horses can't exist just cause we don't see them, right?)

AHMAGAD!!! I’m an equestrian with my own horse, so I LOVE this idea!!! (besides, you hear a guy in Altissia say “I could eat a horse!” so they could definitely exist!)In Tenebrae, they don’t actually breed chocobos, that’s pretty much exclusively Lucis, but they do have and breed horses. Asides from Umbra and Pryna, Luna’s favorite animal is horses.Part of Luna’s royal training was learning to ride horses. Since she was very young, she was a true natural at riding. When Noctis came to Tenebrae and after he was much more healed, he and Luna rode double on horseback. Once Noctis felt more comfortable, he ended up riding his own horse, and the two could be found racing around on horseback playing in the fields at times.There was a whole stable full of horses not far from Fenestala Manor that belonged to the Nox Fleurets. Luna had a few of her favorites that she would pick and choose to take riding, and was particularly close with her riding instructor. Sometimes when Luna would need some alone time, she would escape to the barn, tack up and take her favorite horse, an all black gelding, for a ride. She loved this horse because his color reminded her of Noctis and the Lucian color he and King Regis wore. His name was Knight. When Luna had time to herself and away from her studies, she would spend hours in the fields galloping and jumping fences on horseback. Ravus would usually yell at her or come hunt her down and make her go back to the manor. When Luna was feeling particularly emotional (missing Noctis, scared about becoming Oracle or being Oracle and her destiny, suffering from the grief of losing her mother, Ravus, or when the Nifs were particularly harsh with her), she would escape into the barn and into her favorite horse’s stall. She’d sit and talk to him for hours, cry into his mane, groom him, or fall asleep in his stall with him. During Luna’s ascension as Oracle, Luna actually rode Knight down the long aisle where the people cheered and praised the birth of the new Oracle. One of Noctis’s favorite photos that Luna sent him in the notebook is one of her sitting astride Knight. He noticed when Luna was on the back of a horse, she never smiled more and seemed happier.
