I am thinking of Muggle alternate universe where Severus is the owner of small flower shop while Harry is the owner (and bartender) of the popular cafe in the same street.

The cafe is always crowded because of the heavenly beverage and pastry, though, the number of people (be it adult, man and women alike, teenagers, toodles, even elderly) that went there in order to meet the angel in disguise bartender didn't lose either. (No one really know that Harry is the owner, they thought he is either a worker or relative to the owner)

Severus always wanted to go there, however, the crowds scared him so he never got the chance to.

One day, Harry went to Severus shop to buy flower. Severus talked with Harry and offered him numerous of flowers, in the end Harry settled with red lily.

Remembering the meaning of lily, Severus can't help but joked. "For your girlfriend?" And it seems to be a wrong choice, since Harry widened his eye in surprise before turn into a sad look.

"No...it's for my deceased mother. I suppose it should be weird to bring a red flower to grave. But I can't think of anything else that suits her."

Severus immediately regretted saying that and apologized profusely. "I am so sorry, it's my fault. I shouldn't have assumed things."

"N-no, it's okay. I often get that question from florists." He smiled, though it seems like a grimace. It was obvious that he didn't like the question.

"If I may ask, is that why you have been looking for different flowers? So that you can buy more appropriate flower? Since I have seen you already had your eyes set on this from the beginning." Severus motioned the red lilies.

"Ah, you caught me. Yes...I kind of get scolded by one of my best friend. She stated that bringing red into funerals or grave is impolite. Well, in the end I still choose red. It reminds me of her hair." Harry smiled sheepishly.

"Then maybe you can get her white lilies. It's more common for people to bring it to graves."

"I had that thought before, but it's hard to find white lilies in here."

"Then you could come here, I have my personal garden that grew white lilies." Harry lighten up happily.

"That would be great! I didn't trouble you if I ask for a bouquet every Halloween, did i?" He asked hopefully.

"Not at all." Severus chuckled. "I can get the flower ready for you this afternoon if you want."

"Yes! Thank you, then I will come back and take the flower in 5 p.m." Harry said excitedly.

He reach his pocket and took out his phone. "Maybe we could exchange phone number, just in case if I cannot come and take the flower, and my friend come instead, I could warn you."

"Okay then, wait a second." Severus went inside and come out with a card with simple design of flowers and number written in it.

"I don't have any mobile phone but you could call my shop's telephone." Harry took the card before he fumbled his pocket again.

"Here it is." Then Harry give Severus an elegant looking card with phone number written in it too. "It would be impolite if I didn't give you this."

Harry smiled as Severus took the card before he turn.

"Wait!" Harry stopped and look at Severus confused.

"Do you still want the red lily?"

"Ah, yes I suppose. I can use it for decoration." After that they exchange goodbye and Harry leave.

Not long after Harry left then Severus just noticed that he didn't introduce himself or ask for the young man's name.

Well, at least he got the stranger's number.

...

Okay, maybe after that Harry really unable to take the flower or his friend. The cafe got too busy. So he asked Severus to bring it to the cafe. Feeling troubling the florist, Harry decided to offer food and drinks to Severus. When he notice that Severus is not comfortable with the crowds, he invited Severus to upstairs (where Harry live) and they chatted a long time. Long short story, it became a routine. (Well, Harry may or may not just decorate the cafe with flowers and his employees was joking about blooming love)

This...is the first time I write fluff. Like, seriously. So yeah...

I write this just today, in my phone without any edit or correction or grammar check, so pardon my grammar. Really, I get real sucks if I don't write in Words.

I intended to write a short prompt. Really. Trust me. But it just flow. Sorry for the ooc. They live in peaceful society, please understand. Especially Severus (but I don't think I can use that excuse, it's like entirely different person, still, I do what I want)

Oh yeah, I forgot to add, in here, their age didn't differ that much. (I make Snape younger, but he is still older than Harry)

Daryl: Hi, sweetheart! I’ve been good, not sure if John told you that I’ve been looking after Jena during the day while he’s been at work...?

Luna: Oh, I think he mentioned it once. I bet she enjoys spending time with her grandad.

Daryl: She loves it just as much as I enjoy spending time with her.  I bet you can’t wait for this challenge to end so that you can see her properly again.

Luna: Yeah, I’m really missing her!

Perry: *coughs*

Daryl: Oh yeah, Perry! I have to talk to you. Luna, can you excuse us? I’ll catch up with you later.
