Anchor

-

An anchor to keep me safe, to remind me of what once was. An anchor to hold me down, gravity seeming to oppose. Anchor, weight latched on. I am underwater. Was I prisoner to love or did I welcome this with raw humanity. My existence, tainted with a fine brush. Oh you, my anchor. Let me go, set me free. Time has come, can't you see?

Alone with commitment

The act of maintaining a set of accorded tasks or rules.

Commitment issues; fear of not fulfilling the desired role of either party; The fear of not being enough nor worth keeping.

I am alone with myself; who else to disappoint or ghost but my own shadow. Alone, if only through my fingers I could touch you. My mind who plays the puppeteer of you, me, it's a fantasy.

Alone to commitment, I welcome the sweet familiar colors of the sun. Alone it shines brightly, alone it gives warmth and life, alone it sits with millions of stardust and galaxies, alone it stands in the vast blue sky, alone, we are alike. Alone to think, it is familiar and sweet.

Commitment is daunting. Leaping from the earth, leaving my shadow behind, who will be on the other side? Alone is welcoming. Sleeping on clouds, staying in my shadow, no one can hurt me.

Maybe I am not alone, but in my own shadow. May we escape our minds and venture out into the world together, will you be there for me?

I just found a diary app where each diary and tree at up and stars appear. You basically write your diary entry to the Moon. I think this would be like writing letters to the Moon which would mean writing letters to the one who became the Moon.
