So Basically, after seeing the movie “A Series of Unfortunate Events” a few weeks ago for the first time ever, I could NOT get these poor children out of my head, so, naturally I had the Lunanoffs adopt them. I mean, is there a BETTER family to adopt a young scholar, inventor, and bald, bubbly baby? I think not! I haven’t read the books, but I still tried to merge the book!versions of their designs with the movie!versions.
And after reading paterxumbra’s blog and looking at @monsterbrush‘s art, I just imagined even Pitch interfering and ‘relieving’ Olaf of his favorite pastime. (("Perhaps you didn’t know, but there’s only one person who is allowed to frighten these children and that’s ME. Given that you’re obviously a dried up old prune without an ounce of creativity, I’ll let your past attempts slide, but make no mistake, Count Olaf, you make a pathetic Boogie Man. Cast your shadow over these children once more, and you won’t live to regret it.”))
...And I drew Pitch in a suit because subconsciously he reminds me of the Joker from BTAS, forgive me, but it seemed better than his usual robe/tunic/dress.
Hope of a Thousand Worlds (gen)(12/9)
gen, Full Sailor Moon Crossover
Want to see what would happen if these two worlds collided. Now, they aren't exactly compatible given the Moon's origin myths are both VERY important to each and are COMPLETELY different, but I want to see this.
I approached this by having the first Silver Millennium and the Golden Age overlap. When Pitch Black brings the downfall of the Golden Age, the Tsar and Tsarina bring their heir to Queen Serenity for safekeeping, trusting that she would use the Silver Crystal to protect him. Of course, this is me, so the Golden Age that the Lunanofs see isn’t the same as what everyone else sees, and the protection of the heir and the universe might take a different from than they envision.
ROTG Month Day Four: Fashion! Although Mother Nature and Toothiana have some AMAZING fashion choices, and Jack’s hoodie is stylish in its own way, I can’t think of Guardians and fashion without immediately picturing Tsarina Lunanoff. Who else could pull off a dress that is both classic and futuristic and is made of pearl-like moons?
And that is all that love’s about And we’ll recall when time runs out
That it only took a moment To be loved a whole life long
“There once was a time called the Golden Age. It is said that there has never been anything as magnificent before or since. Travel among the planets and stars was common then. The galaxies were filled with airships of every shape and size imaginable. And the universe was ruled be the Constellations– groups of stars and planets led by great, benevolent families who governed with imagination, fairness and flair. Of these regal families, the House of Lunanoff was the most beloved; if the Golden Age had true royalty, it was Tsar and Tsarina Lunanoff.” – Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King by William Joyce

WAYS TO INTERACT WITH THE MAN IN THE MOON
THAT DON'T DIRECTLY INVOLVE BEING ON HIS SHIP
MiM has some fans and it seems love for him is growing [be that due to the books or the many blogs popping up]. Here is a fun and easy list of ways for your Earthbound character to interact with him that don't involve spontaneously appearing on a space ship hundreds of thousands of miles away from Earth.
Be Patient. The Man in the Moon might come down to Earth on an expedition or for fun. You'll have a great chance then.
Get Creative. The Man in the Moon listens to his balloons which are linked with children all over the Earth. If you really need to talk to him, just focus on those thoughts. Sending a message via balloon would help too.
If you want to ask him a question, ask it! A lot of MiM roleplay blogs also serve as ask blogs. Muses will answer questions out of their current setting. So all you have to do is ask something.
Talk to a Guardian. MiM is the head of the Guardians. Maybe talking to one will yield some results.
Even just watching them might be good. An opportunity could spring up any time, via M!A. [Hell, you can even send a Magic Anon to turn 'em human sometimes!]
But please please please please stop showing up on the Clipper out of nowhere. In all honesty there is just nothing to go on when you do that. We MiM muns are just as human as you are and one-sentence intros sent via askbox, featuring your muse just randomly appearing on a secure vessel are horribly difficult to write off of.
Please be creative.
