Luna was my first follower on tumblr and my first fandom friend. She’s the reason that When the Bedbugs Bite happened, especially the bee-themed second chapter. as someone who is an older person in fandom (i'm 31), i definitely agree with you about staying safe. some boundaries absolutely need to be set. there's nothing inherently wrong with an older person liking a younger person's work, but yeah, i'd be super wary about constant interaction. i try not to interact with minors myself unless i can't avoid it (like in a discord chat for example). it is a weird situation to deal with, but the important thing is to keep yourself safe and comfortable!
