These photos are of the lunch boxes I made for my husband to take to work each day this week.
Another week has passed. Time really flies. The year is almost over.
Ok y'know what. What's better as a lunch * (please consider the scenario)?
Any meat and rice dish (can have any seasoning/veggies/other add-ins **)
Any sandwich (you can add anything, but needs to be a basic bread***)
I can't eat one or both of these and therefore will abstain
* This is a meal you are transporting to work, in a container. You cannot heat the meal back up, however you can pack it however you like. You must consider:
Overall flavour (you must go for max flavour)
How dry/soggy it will get over time, you will eat it roughly 3 hours after having packed it, and will have to transport it to the location, so factor in like weather and wait times
How well the meal holds up no longer being warm/fresh
Generally how filling/fulfilling it is a a meal
Convenience is not a factor in this.
** but rice cannot be flavoured and it cannot have like a thick sauce on top (like curry), however things like the meat's juice or whatever seasonings were on it (which have turned into a mild slurry) are allowed.
*** this includes white bread, whole-wheat, other kinds of loaves. But does not include tortillas, wraps, flatbreads, sourdough or any others. Again, like the rice, it cannot be flavoured, of course things like sauces are allowed.
Please help me solve an argument here.
