I pretty much have the same face in every single one of my pictures. I completed my run over my lunch break of run 3/walk 2 along with a 5 minute warm up and cool down for a total of 2.3 miles which is a .03 mile improvement over last week. I was still slower than normal but I did start at a higher speed and basically just played around with speed the whole time to find what felt best, hard, could hold for a little bit longer, intervals, etc. My legs felt like lead and just did NOT want to move this morning when I started my walk and even a little bit into the first run but then it shook out. I'm hoping to try out a recovery technique I read about after my next run. Just have to time it right.
