Hey, how's your WIP going (:? It's been a while since I was active on tumblr, and now that I'm back on for NaNo and this hellsites usual shenanigans, thought I'd ask

Lune!! Okay but my entire face lit up when I saw this ask, it's been so long?? But never long enough to see a friendly face🥰🥰🥰 How're you? How have things been on your end? Is everything well? How's writing?

Okaaaay, to bring you up to speed: Aquiver, Aglow is now a finished third draft. I was really happy with how the last rewriting went, tbh it was the best drafting experience I've ever had. Almost every scene was overhauled, everything feels right. So! On to polishing, and maybe in a year or two we'll have a completed WIP! On the flipside, I have to trim about 100k of it which is leaving me a bit pained:') :')

Right now I'm taking a step back from 'quiv to let it rest. For NaNo I'm doing Aberration of Sunlight, which I've never really introduced, but in which:

Foolish little man goes into outer space in search of immortality, aware that there's the space-hungry Beast of the Deep Night lurking, but still wanting to take its long years for himself. In present-age, the world is now ending. Superintendent Madigan definitely isn't where he is supposed to be. But with skyscrapers burning in flames, the Beast rampaging, an old-commission space helmet found lying in withered overgrowth, he decides to investigate the truth behind the cataclysm. Even if that draws its lambent eye his way. Since nowadays, people call the Beast the glitched guardian.

Who is your oldest OC?

I’m going to interpret “oldest” as age, and not date created, because I honestly don’t know what my first OC was.

Who is your favourite character from your main WIP?

I realise I have yet to properly introduce, well, any characters. Definitely doing that at some point (:. So, I don’t know who’s much sense this will make to anyone, but I’ll try my best to explain.

My favourite OC from my WIP is probably Lottie Rose, who has been written about on this blog before. Always seen with blonde pigtails, a well worn leather jacket, and a pink lighter, Lottie’s fiery, intense emerald eyes capture her personality perfectly. Playful, a little bit mischievous, childish, hot-headed, and not afraid to throw a punch, Lottie embodies the spirit of small and angry.

She might appear harsh, and downright frightening to most, but secretly she’s an absolute softie willing to die protecting, especially when it involves children, sweets, or the only being she cares about (and might have a tiny crush on): Zarifa

Maybe I’ll make some art of her, and post it here. Maybe.
