Alone : Cyra, Morana, Carrion
ahhh, so many great questions!! thank you, Case!! 💖💖💖
alone: How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there's no one around to see them?
Cyra is used to being lonely, but she is not used to being alone. She grew up in a place with very little privacy or personal space, and from there went on to be treated more like an object or animal than a person, so she's used to being surrounded by people all the time. However, she's never really had any close friends (or really any friends at all), aside from the brief time she knew her ex-gf, Eris. (Eris actually wasn't much of a friend at all, but Cyra doesn't know that.) I feel like Cyra is almost more paranoid and uncomfortable when she's alone. She doesn't really trust silence.
Morana enjoys being alone. In fact, she generally prefers it. She spent a good portion of her early life completely alone after the deaths of her parents. And even once Razvan took her on as an apprentice, he mostly just ignored her / left her to her own devices unless he actively needed her to do something, so it wasn't like he was providing any social interaction. She's an introvert and also autistic, so she quiet alone time is her happy place. When she's alone, she tends to be much more relaxed. She might let the mask slip just a little and maybe do some kind of stimming. (Or at least, different kinds. She's worked out ways to be subtle about it when she's In Public.)
Carrion got used to being alone, but he doesn't like it. He grew up with two very loving parents, and then he lived at an orphanage surrounded by other kids, and then he was a member of a paladin order, so he had tons of people around all the time. The past 5 years being completely alone has been his normal state, but although he would never admit it, he's lonely, and desperately misses having friends. (Unfortunately for him, he just fucked up his only friendship he's had in the last 5 years. Sorry, buddy. That one's partially on me.) When he's alone, though, I do think he's a bit less on edge. If he's alone in the middle of nowhere, he doesn't have to be terrified of being recognized, being hunted. And he does genuinely enjoy being out in the middle of nowhere. He just wishes he had a friend there with him. :')
