"Can you dance with me?" Yuqi asked, taking out the earbuds off of Lucas' to get his attention.
"What do you mean?" The tall boy asked, wondering what kind of weird request the girl has again.
"It's to promote my new song, come on~~~" Yuqi waved her phone in front of Lucas' face, showing the spotify track of "Bonnie and Clyde" (stream). The girl tugged on her friend's sleeve, forcing him to say yes— because everyone knew that she wouldn't take no for an answer.
"Ugh, fine." Yuqi beamed at his answer, "Does it already have a choreography?"
"Of course, duh! Come on, I'll teach you." Yuqi led him to an empty hallway in the building, she figured she might as well do it in one go, planning to film right afterwards especially since it was a fairly easy dance and they were already wearing matching shirts, courtesy of the filming of the reality show they star together in.
"First, in the part that goes we don't need money to feel good, you jump up and—" Yuqi started, trying to teach Lucas the choreography but admittedly found it hard to do so when they couldn't help but mess around after every step.
"Yah! Pay attention you tall oaf." Yuqi scolded which earned her another burst of laughter from Lucas.
"Please! It's so easy, I already know how to do it." He waved her off, making her roll her eyes at his casual smugness.
"You sure about that?" She challenged, placing her phone on a tripod to start filming, "Let's do this in one go then."
We don't need money to feel good,
Cause you're the ride or die, the rest of—
"Ah—" Lucas quipped as he forgot the next move but tried to play it off as he looked at Yuqi in front of him.
"You forgot already! So much for easy huh?" Yuqi stopped dancing to scold him and he scratched the back of his neck.
"Again, again." He challenged and Yuqi obliged.
This time, they were able to do it neatly, dancing in synchronization.
"See? First try!" Lucas sarcastically remarked which made Yuqi give him another one of her shoulder punches.
"Whatever, your long limbs make your dancing look weird."
"At least I don't have to stand five feet away in the front to look tall—" Before Lucas can even finish his teasing remark, Yuqi was already in his ass, chasing him down the spacious hallway to hit him again.
"I hate you! Come back here!" She laughed as she held her fists in the air, running to her friend for vengeance.
At this point, the film crew and their fellow co-stars were already used to their mild banter turning violent so they barely looked up from their own business as the voices of the two reverbated across the hall.
