Just figured out after whom Harriet from tmr is named after.

Harriet Tubman
She was a slave in Maryland. As a teen, she watched a slave trying to flee and was commended to help hold him down. She didn’t so the guard threw a rock against her head. It caused her brain damage and permanent migraine and hallucinations.
She flew slavery in her 20s and returned several times to free about 70 more slaves from Maryland.
After that she became an important spy for the northern states in the civil war helping them free again several hundred slaves.
She died 1913 as a hero
A lot of monuments were build for her and I think she is pretty fucking awesome.
In my head, Harriet would carry that name with pride if she knew about her.

Idk if anyone already posted about this but I think it’s important to know since I feel like the names of the girls are very unexplored compared to the boys (and Theresas) names.
This was in the front of the shadow and bone book and I completely overlooked it. If Uncle Rick approves then it is probably really good. (I practically inhaled the pjo, hoo and Magnus Chase books. Still gotta read the apollo and tsats)
