10 books for the perpetually curious
Curiosity is both a gift and a curse. To be curious is to take interest upon a particular topic, and most often than not, that topic is not at all related to your school work, your assignments, your deadlines. Some people value curiosity, I am one of those people.
To search and unravel, what great feelings. So, as a way to celebrate all that is curious, here's a list of 10 books for the Ravenclaws and Lucys of this beautiful world.
1. On The Road by Jack Kerouac
This is a book about the unexpected, about decisions and choices either bad or good, a book about a journey without destination, with mixed feelings and moralities.
It's alluring, daring, adventurous, shocking.
2. Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer
Much like Kerouac's road, this is based on the true story of a man who left all things shallow behind and embarked on a search for happiness and truth. It's a beautifully sad, compelling story that makes the reader question life and where true happiness lies.
(Because this is one of my personal favorites, I will leave you a quote, “Happiness is only real when shared” )
3. A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle
The book which introduced the world to Sherlock and Watson, do I need to say anything else?
4. The Last of the Tsars: Nicolau II and the Russian Revolution by Robert Service
This is for those of you, who like me, are history junkies. If you're into the Russian Revolution themes and you'll definitely want to read it.
5. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
To keep the History flow going here's a historical novel with elements of science fiction, adventure, and romance. It will get you hooked up and it will not let you go until the very last word.

This science fantasy novel about young heroes who embark on a journey through space and time. With themes about spirituality, love, what is good and what is evil, this is the first of a series of amazing books.

Three books for those of you who would love to get lost in another dimension.
