" it isn't that lars doesn't have real feelings for her. it had been more like he'd felt like she deserved better than to be with a man with a failed marriage and two teenage daughters. she deserves a life that is with someone that doesn't come with his baggage. though he knew that his daughters would just adore her, and be happy that their father is moving on with his life.

quite on the verge of madness ––– only apt way to describe the feeling of being edged straight to oblivion. could have swore he made a grave mistake in giving them permission to do however as they pleased to him. and yet… his head kicks back with another moan. mind so fogged with delirious ecstasy that demand of 'say the magic words' draws the most ill-advised ( yet true ) words from his mouth : “ i love you. ”
