First rehearsal

Yesterday was the first rehearsal for LUUMS Concert Band! I've been in Leeds for 2,5 weeks now and I just needed to clear my head by playing the flute. (I haven't played since summer break) After our rehearsal we headed down for the Old Bar at the Union. After a pint of summer berries cider I met up with my flatmates in the city centre for Light Night.

Unfortunately I haven't seen a lot of the event itself. However I still had a lot of fun! We went for ONE drink at this bar called Roxy in the city centre. Some friends form Emily (one of my flatmates) were there as well. We enjoyed the evening and decided to go to this German bar called The Bierkeller for just ONE more drink. Of course we ended up dancing and drinking on the benches. And one drink turned into quit a lot of drinks and a slightly hangover Saturday.

Note to self: a hangover and a cold doesn’t work out very good.

So I stayed at home today instead of going to this trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park with my school. Lucky I'm not the only one who missed this trip today, so me and Sherry (a friend from my course) will plan our own trip soon!

For tomorrow I made plans with Hyoni (another girl from my course) to have a coffee somewhere in town! I look forward to this coffee already and I want to hear more about this sculpture park as well.

Tonight I will end up watching the third season of Revenge. I didn't watched the series for a while but I'm enjoying it ever since I started watching again.
