Ok so one of my current hf's is the podcast The Bright Sessions. It's a scripted fiction podcast about superheros that go to therapy, secret government agencies, found family, and gay shit. I highly recommend anyone check it out if it sounds up ur alley. Also the creator of the podcast wrote a book about 2 of my favorite characters from the show called The Infinite Noise that is v good and v gay. I cant wait for the spinoff podcast The Collage Tapes to begin in the fall and for her next book!

this prompt is so open ended but i’m going to write it in the most predictable way for you b. i also changed how it was worded because it sounded clunky in my dialogue.

#23 “I immediately regret this decision.”

Matteo’s comfortable where he is, still in his flat surrounded by his friends and a little more than tipsy. He hasn’t drunk in a while so his tolerance is much lower than he’s used to. They’re playing some version of truth or dare because other games kind of got boring and they’re really the last stragglers of the party. Matteo’s spent most of the game leaning into David and sitting with his eyes closed just listening, it’s almost peaceful until it gets to his go. 

“Oooh okay, I have a good one. Matteo truth or dare?” Jonas asks after he’s downed an egg shot without blinking an eye. Matteo doesn’t trust Jonas for a second with a truth, so he goes dare still not feeling great about it. “I dare you to not touch David until the next person calls your name.” Jonas grins wickedly, he knows this will be impossible for Matteo and that just makes him feel more competitive. “Easy. That’s not even going to be a problem. Hardly an inconvenience.” Matteo shrugs like it’s no big deal. “Ha as if. I bet you won’t even last five minutes.” Carlos jokes. “Watch me.” Matteo challenges. 

Matteo moves away from David, leaning on the back of arm of the chair instead. “Should someone sit between them?” Kiki asks. “No, that’s cheating.” Jonas decides, “If someone’s between them that makes it easier.” Matteo shifts around already starting to regret going along with the dare. He gets clingy when he drinks and even centimetre of separation between him and David. “You okay baby?” David asks quietly and Matteo hates him. He’s smirking, reading how much Matteo hates this. “I’m regretting this already.” He groans. 

David laughs rolling his eyes at his boyfriend, “You’ve got to win this for us though.” “Is it really worth the win if I can’t touch you though?” Matteo asks, hoping to get David on his side. “I think it is. I love winning, you know that.” Matteo groans at David. It’s not fair that he’s teaming up against him. “Can you sit still?” Hanna asks from where she’s sitting on the floor next to him. “Shut up.” Matteo snaps. “You can’t stand this can’t you?” Jonas is laughing sitting across from him. “No Jonas, I’m not a fan of you not allowing me to touch my boyfriend.” 

The game keeps going on for a few more turns and Matteo gets a more little restless. At one point David reaches for Matteo’s leg to rest his hand on it without thinking and Matteo goes to move to rest his legs in his lap before Abdi calls them out. Matteo curls into himself more and sulks. He knows he looks like a brat but it’s not his fault. “This is a stupid dare.” He responds to Abdi telling him to rein it in. “Guys I feel kinda bad, he looks like a sad little kicked puppy. Someone just ask him.” Sam says. Matteo reaches over Hanna to high five her, “Thank you, finally someone’s on my team.” “Okay fine!” Hans says, “I’m going to waste my turn on you, but only because you’re so cute. Matteo, truth or dare?” “Truth.” Matteo says, moving back under David’s arm and holding onto him not. “Are you ever going to stop being such a needy gremlin?”

‘I walked into the public bathroom at a mcdonalds and you’re dangling halfway out of an air vent do I even want to know what you were doing’ au with bella and rosalie please?

i heard the door open and winced, knowing that my legs were still dangling over the edge of the vent opening

“bella?” the familiar drawl of rosalie’s voice sounded

“um… yeah?”

i don’t know why i thought acting casual might help me but i gave it a shot anyway

“if you wanted our date to be over you could have just said so, you didn’t have to make a grand escape.” rosalie said sarcastically, and i rolled my eyes as i pictured the way she would be casually leaning against the sinks or examining her nails while she did so. “or, if you liked the dramatics, you could have just taken that open window in the corner.”

“very funny.” i replied, glancing behind me to see if there really was no other way out

“you want to tell me how you got up there? or why you got up there?”

“do i have to answer that before you help me get back down?”

she giggled, “oh yes, i think that would be the most fun. don’t you?”

“fine, which one do you want answered first?”

“why?”

“a bird flew in that conveniently open window and flew into the vent and then it got stuck so i got up to help it.”

“right… and the how?”

“i stood on that big trash can and leaned all the way inside but when i got close the bird managed to unstick itself and it flew at me which made me jump so i knocked the trash can over with my feet and was hanging off the vent so i climbed inside so i wouldn’t fall.”

rosalie sighed, “of course you did.”

“come on rose, help me down.” i pleaded. “someone’s going to walk in and it’s going to be really really embarrassing.”

“good!” she exclaimed. “you should be embarrassed! this is ridiculous! no one else’s girlfriend seems to get themselves into these kinds of situations.”

“rose, please!”

“okay, okay.” she chuckled, but seemed to be ready to help me now. “listen, just wriggle back the way you came and i’ll catch you.”

“do you promise?”

“have i ever dropped you before, bella?”

“no, but you’ve never had to catch me while trying not to laugh before.” i grumbled but started to shimmy my way back out of the air vent as best i could

a few seconds later, after a big gulping breath i let myself fall

i released a short scream but it cut off when i felt her secure arms beneath me

i opened my eyes and found her face only inches from mine

“there. consider yourself saved.” she smirked and kissed me lightly before setting me down on the floor again

“thanks. if only that bird had been as grateful to me as i am to you, it might have made it worth it.”

“oh no, i definitely think it was worth it.” she laughed, shaking her head as she pulled dust from the air vent out of my hair and i moved to wash my hands for the second time since entering the bathroom
