So I would like to know your thoughts as to what might happen with Hayley and Elijah at the end of season 5, I want a happy ending for them so bad both alive and happy together.

EDIT: To the anon who just sent me a message about the spoilers, a) I’m not responding publicly to the ask in case there are those trying to stay spoiler-free, and b) fucking hell, that’s even bleaker than I thought it was going to be.

Based on the spoilers I’ve seen from the writers’ room and the set (which, admittedly, I’m behind the curve when it comes to staying up-to-date on spoilers), I think that Hayley’s going to be dating someone new when the season starts, but when Elijah gets his memories back, the two of them are going to find their way back to each other just in time for Hayley to die. I am 100% convinced that Hayley is going to die, and I’m really pissed off about it, because JPlec continues to tout herself as a feminist while doing some really shitty stuff to women. 

So yeah, I’m sorry friend, but based on what I know of JPlec and how TVD ended, I think you’re setting yourself up for disappointment by hoping for a happy Haylijah ending. But don’t worry; despite myself, I’m still hoping for it, too.
