Jennifer just made a post about Family Force Five so here's a story

my brother attended Creation Northwest with the youth group of my old church

and Family Force Five performed

and the youth pastor was really angry because while Family Force Five is a band made of Christians

they're not a Christian band

and they performed a song called Dang Girl that had sexual undertones which is

SO BAD FOR CHRISTIANS HOW DARE THEY

OBVIOUSLY THEY'RE NOT REAL CHRISTIANS AND CREATION SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN INVITED THEM

and when my brother pointed out that lots of non-Christian bands perform at Creation (including Switchfoot and Relient K) the youth pastor just said that he was only defending them because he didn't want to accept that he was listening to ungodly music

there was a Korean drama my friend tried to get me into that started with a public proposal on a subway and the girl said yes even though she really didn't want to because the people around her were whispering about how sweet her boyfriend was and then she is just kind of like "...fuck" because she'd been considering breaking up with him anyway

I only watched one episode but yeah that's what I thought of
