3) Ideal car to drive?

I’m going to say right off the bat that I am not an expert on cars. My favorite kind are convertibles, simply because I love the idea of driving on the highway with the roof off and my hair flowing freely in the wind (yes I’m one of those people lol). I’d also love for the car to be purple, any shade would do but I do prefer lavender.

10) Fave location?

I’d have to say that this is a tie between Fireball Beach and Thomasville. I love Fireball Beach because of the cute scene between Lightning and Cruz in Cars 3. I also love the fact that there is a crab sanctuary in the area, like a real CRAB SANCTUARY!!! All the crabbies are safe and well taken care of. I also love Thomasville because it represents the pivotal moment in the movie where the past is relived in the present. I also adore Lightning and Cruz sharing a lap on the old track (I elaborated on this in a previous post, but I just love how Lightning allows Cruz to discover more about Doc’s past with him. He lets her partake in a very personal aspect of his life and he isn’t selfish about it. He could’ve taken that lap by himself or not even bother to pick Cruz up on the way, instead, he allowed her to tag along). Also, the scene with all the letters from Doc in Smokey’s garage… (there are no words in the English language to describe how touched I was by that scene).

13) Fave detail?

I know that this question implies that I should speak about one detail, but here’s a list:

-Doc’s graceful ability to drift on dirt

-Lightning’s genuine smile

-Cruz’s fangs

-The tears in Lightning and Sally’s eyes when they say goodbye and when Sally sees Lightning push The King across the finish line

-CRAB SANCTUARY!!

-Virtual reality at the training center

-Sterling’s telescope

-The way the camera man looked at Chick when he said that he beat Lightning

Ones without pictures (could only put so much):

-Jackson’s laugh

-The way Lightning licks his lips when he’s trying to concentrate

-Cruz’s squeal before racing

-Reflections during the “Life could be Dream” scene

-”When You Find Yourself” song playing in the background during the first Cars movie

-The sleeping contraption in Japan, which was in Cars 2 (also just the amazing world building of the Cars universe in this movie is incredible all by itself)

-The way Cruz and Lightning matched each other in every scene (might do a future post on that)

-The way Cal gets flustered when he’s embarrassed

-Guido’s facial expressions

-Lizzy’s souvenir shop (I loved that snow globe shot!)
