Funk. Dust. Marzipan. Cherry tobacco. Walnut oil. Peanut brittle. Leather bound book. Polo cologne.
Old Ezra 7 Year:
Brown sugar. Oak. Vanilla. Ethanol.
Taste:
Booker’s Granny’s Batch:
Brown sugar. Funk. Marzipan. Filling of Stuckey’s pecan log. Raw walnuts. Cherry frosting. Kentucky chew: funk, crawlspace, flour, almond paste, bitter walnuts.
Old Ezra 7 Year:
Yeast. Black coffee beans. Vanilla. Funk. Kentucky chew: bitter ethanol.
Feel / Finish:
Booker’s Granny’s Batch:
Medium/Thick: hangs in gums. Lots and lots of yeast. Funk hangs in cheeks. Dries mouth out. Creeping crawlspace. Kentucky chew: super tannic, causes gums to pulse— raw walnuts.
Old Ezra 7 Year:
Thin. Kentucky Hug - about to thorax - resonates a bit. Mouth stays fairly moist. Kentucky chew: dries out mouth, burns — only ethanol and oak.
