A vanity Ches bought everything for and set up in the corner of her room because she's #extra. She holds her makeup in the cabinet. (The picture frame on the wall is not there, instead, there's something else there that's a different pin).

What was the highlight of your summer overall? The low light?
The highlight of my summer was probably the beginning of the camping trip, although it didn’t have the happiest end, it was my first time camping and having so many great people with me on it was a blast! As for a lowlight, other than how the camping trip ended, it would have to the situation with the art in the art club. I still feel incredibly guilty about that, and I quit trying to learn magic afterward.

How did you feel about having to stay at the school for the duration of the summer? Liberating? Or did you miss your family?
I honestly loved it! I missed my family, of course, but it was such an amazing experience. We were all together for summer break, it was so much easier to keep in touch with my friends this year! Maybe it could be something Luxor offers to students as an optional thing next summer?

Is there anything you wanted to do during the break that you didn’t get a chance to? Any people you didn’t get the chance to see as much as you would have liked?
I would have loved to see my older sister, Grace! I miss her a lot now she’s in California at Stanford but we FaceTime and Skype a lot so it wasn’t too bad. Hopefully, I’ll get to see her over Winter break!

What are you looking forward to this year?
Honestly? I am really excited because I’m taking the fashion design course this year. So far I’m really loving it a lot, maybe it’s something for me to consider as a career in the future if it keeps going well! Otherwise, my cousin Maxi is graduating this year, and I’m really excited I’ll be here to watch him walk. I’m really proud of him!

Is there anyone you’re looking forward to getting to know better?
I definitely want to get to know the Carnifex students better, I can’t imagine how hard joining Luxor actually is on them. They lost their school, and now they’re expected to mix in with students they’ve had a rivalry with for generations. If I can make them feel even a bit more at home, I want to. Otherwise? I recently learned one of my childhood friends is attending school here too, so I’m really looking forward to catching up with him!

What is one thing you would like to accomplish within this next school year?
Other than passing, this year, I want to do an art project with the horses in the stables. I might not know how to ride them, but I think they’re really beautiful so it might be fun to paint them.
