Took a while but it’s Girls Time! A Luz opal known for luxurious hair and a cruel demeanor, and a Fossil opal here to invent golf by knocking some heads off!

excuse me! i'm planning to make a Luz Opal with a little galaxy inside it would you have advice for the outfit, personality and role on homeworld? :D ( if you don't mind, i could submit a picture of the gem i was thinking of because its v v specific )

Sure! You can absolutely send me a photo (or if my Submission Box is closed, just post it and tag me in the caption). I’ll just give some ideas anyway for other people who may wish to make the same gemstone a gemsona.

Outfit:To capture the gem’s appearance, I would give the gem a dress that has a poofy skirt or a shirt with poofy pants/skirt. You can combine this with the general Opal outfit ideas below.

Ah, thanks for the help! I have another question. What kind of powers would a Luz Opal have? I've got everything else for her down, but I couldn't think of any powers that would fit.

Contra Luz Opal looks very spacey and floaty, so we could base some powers off of that. And while Contra Luz Opal doesn’t have metaphysical properties, Oregon Opal (which Contra Luz is a variety of) does. It is a stone of transformating, dreaming, and imagination. It’s said to provide with a gentle energy, said to resonate a kind of energy field, diminish fear, and allow the wearer to feel one with the Universe.  So firstly I could recommend air or cloud manipulation. They can be able to levitate/fly, create clouds, and control wind. Going with a space theme, they could have gravitational powers, being able to manipulate the gravity around them (of themselves and others).  If you want to get really spacey, cosmic space manipulation is another suggestion, but I would advise applying some effective rules to it. Lastly, dream manipulation can be considered. They may have a sub ability of putting others to sleep. They can hop into one’s dreams and be able to manipulate them.
