None of the listed notes on fragrantica is incense but what it evokes for me is the smell of incense at Catholic mass. Beautiful, but haunting in its associations. I wear this one only on specific circumstances but it makes quite an impression.

FERN AND MOSS: Fresh, green, uplifting with lavender, basil, pink grapefruit, green herbs, and dark moss. L'ÉTRANGER: vanilla, whiskey, oak barrels, cedar, and tobacco, with hints of smoky pine wood.
