SLEEP NEVER COMES EASY FOR a restless mind. He’s used to tossing and turning until the rose tinted dawn stains through his windows, announcing yet another night without a decent rest. The psychiatrist, ‘doctor’ comes up with every trick in the book that’ll improve it. But she can’t comprehend the w i r e d thoughts that scream through his ears. Except there is one thing that tames his restless nature, or at least leaves him too exhausted to fight the chaotic dreams that threaten to surface. Running. He usually waits until the streetlights come on and it’s only him and the rare vehicle speeding toward their annual night shift. Tonight is no different as the streetlights reflect off his white tee shirt and a drizzle of rain dampens his chocolate curls. 

But it isn’t until his thighs are screaming and the air has all but left his lungs that Alex finally returns home. The light spilling from beneath his doorway causes frustration to build inside the eldest Sinclair. Was it his dad worried that he was doing something stupid again? He hoped not. It isn’t until he barges through the door that the relief floods him. At the very least this face brings more comfort than anger. ❝ What are you doing in here? Did some dad reject you on Tinder again? ❞  ( @lvxprima )

“so,” katrina smiled at matty, folding her arms across her chest, “was prom as horrible as you expected? or did you actually have fun?” she hadn’t chaperoned- she thought luna might be even madder at her if she did- but she had taken a million pictures beforehand. a picture of luna and matty together all done up for prom was already her phone’s lock screen (the other kids were still on the home screen, not to worry), “basically, what i’m asking is, was my pushiness worth it?” she chuckled.

“ok, so, i’ve just been considering this lately and i need your opinion, it’s very important,” alma pointed at dylan, a very serious (too serious) look on her face, “what do you think is more haunted- b.u. or ashcroft? because, i have arguments for both, but i want other thoughts because obviously both are pretty haunted! in my professional opinion.” and by professional she meant as someone who had watched every episode of ghost adventures at least twice.
