Why am I always 50 years late to everything? I've spent most of the day hiding away from the world (humaning correctly is too difficult at present) and watching ofmd. Why did I put off watching it this long?!
I wasn't going to share this yet, but.
I found a blank crochet chibi doll base I made a year or so back but never got round to finishing. I can't even remember who it was going to be originally, but now it is slowly "Becoming The Moss", to quote the dream that inspired this whole stupid thought nugget...

And the li'l guy (pictured below, stood by Xander for comparison, who is large labrador size - 34kg and 63cm tall at the shoulder) is pretty much done! I'm going to make him other outfits eventually, but most of them require me to extract the sewing machine from gods only know what it's buried under! So, for now, he is wearing that. I'm currently working on shoes, which wouldn't be too difficult had I not lost the pattern I wrote while making the first one... now I'm having to improvise to some extent and hope they turn out to be a pair!
When he originally appeared in that fateful dream, he wasn't wearing the wig, and his hair looked sort of a little like Tom Hollander's, only a little more blond-brown and an inch or two longer - which is the look I tried to create. I'm not 100% pleased with it, but it took me close to 10 hours to complete it, so it's staying!

So... i started reading it way back when... but then chapter 40 happened, and 💔😭. So I stopped reading amd sort of just forgot about the whole thing... until it was brought to my attention that were gonna have an anime soon?!?!?!?!?!
So naturally, I just had to catch up before that happens! All I've done since yesterday evening is read. and read. And then some more reading. (It's doing wonders for my diet, lol! Shame the same can't be said for my sleep...) I am now back to where I left off; I am crying again, but I shall persevere! I can't believe i actually stopped reading! There's so much to catch up on! Heeeelp!
I've just woken up (well, half an hour ago) and I keep remembering one small segment of a dream I had...
... goblincore Cutler Beckett.
I remember walking into his office alongside Mercer, seeing someone dressed in scruffy brown and green clothing, surrounded by plants and fungi, sat cross-legged on the desk drinking tea (spoiler alert, it was Beckett!). Mercer turned to me, ushered me back out of the room, and said: "he has become The Moss."
And then I woke up. Wtaf?!
Erm... I was going to actually write something (i had a weird thought nugget about Cutler, and it needs writing!) ... but then Xander had other ideas, it would seem... I have yet to figure out why he thinks being possessive of my keyboard is a good idea, but he won't let me type anything. The moment I go to touch the keyboard: resource-guarding. He lets me touch my phone, my crochet, and even himself, no problem, but the keyboard: property of Xander now. 🤷
