Hughes' attitude had her suspicions raised, considering not even a few days ago they had been getting along, confiding in each other about their feelings for a certain Colonel. She found it smart to not push his boundaries as of yet, knowing that they weren't exactly close and she thought it beneficial to befriend Roy's other best friend.

So... she tailed him, curious to know what had him so on edge, so prickly, in hopes that... maybe she could help. Only... she was surprised to see him step into Roy's office after declaring he wished to be left alone. A hand catches the door before it shuts entirely, leaving a gap just small enough for her to peer through. What she saw shook her to the core.

Miya doesn't pause for the Colonel's reaction, dubbing this a private moment to be shared between them, not one meant for anyone else's eyes. She's as silent as she can be as she allows the door to click shut, retreating back down the hall from which she came. Her feet felt like lead weights, her heart even more so, and it was a chore to leave the building. As she walked, her mouth became dry, her throat tight, and it was nearly impossible to swallow the emotion welling up, but all she had to do was make it home.

Maes Hughes beat her to it. It was something she hardly expected after their discussion.

But all she can hope for is the best for the two of them. She would never get in the way of their happiness, the two men that deserved it more than anyone else she's ever known.

Send me a “ 🔥 “ for an unpopular opinion.

Don't know if this is a unpopular opinion but a wish certain rpc (s) weren't so dead or that people jump ship for the next big thing. And no, I don't mean people leaving for legit reasons like being busy or just not liking Tumblr anymore ( or getting a life /j ). That's why I love seeing rpc (s) getting revived and coming back. It's nice to see them come back around and not just the nostalgia. I hope this all makes sense.

In a busy town, it wasn't easy to tell when someone was watching you. Though if one kept their senses sharp, one could swear they can feel eyes fixed on them. Nix was gathering supplies while the boys rested in their room, since it was better that they take a load off. Though she noticed a figure watching her, keeping tabs or simply following. Either way, the silverette wasn't going to lead them straight to where the young alchemists were. So she calmly walked to an empty part of town, a corner of some park. This would be good enough for a quick talk..
