What do you like about mexican black kingsnakes? Are there things you dislike about them? I think they're gorgeous and am considering getting one. I was surprised I havent seen or heard of them more given they're a recommended starter snake.

They never fail to eat! Kingsnakes in general will eat nearly anything you allow them to. They are also very curious and active, not to mention gorgeous :) their care is really easy as well, an arid species that thrives with deep substrate to burrow in.
