Sound Glitch, Bugged Dawnguard Quests/CTDs, Skyrim RP question
I was wondering if any of the mods would know how to handle my problem since forums aren't turning up any answers. I play skyrim on my 360 and when I'm facing a speaker, their voice is a touch hushed, but when I turn directly away from them, the volume of their voice is how it should be. I've tried amping up the Voice setting in Audio all the way but it still doesn't help any. Any ideas?
That's really strange. I've no idea why that might be, besides maybe some in-game issue, and even then, I'm not sure it can be a DIY fix. I'm sorry that I have no other answer!

I need some help with a bugged quest, specifically one of the Volkihar side quests, Deceiving the Herd. Now, the objective is to kill someone in a specified city while wearing Dawnguard armor, planting an incriminating letter, framing the Dawnguard for murder. But here's the problem: It wont let me store the letter on the victim's body due to it being a "quest item." Well DUH game! This is the quest that the letter is for! Is there something I can do to fix this? (I'm on PC)
Strange, can you actually drop the item? If you can't store it, perhaps you'd be able to drop it and get its base id, then add it into the victim's inventory via console commands (but if it works like a radiant quest, that's probably not a good idea--scratch that).
A better idea would be to look up the console stage for that quest, and complete that stage. If you'd want to get rid of the letter after the quest is completed via the setstage command, you'd be able to do so using the console.

I'd assume it may be a mod issue, if you can't find anything on the internet. Might you have a mod that alters any part of vampires, whether that be a transformation, or maybe even the fact that you're already a vampire? Little conflicts like that would be good to look for.
Also, I've found that reloading a previous save usually fixes those problems when nothing else will. I hope that helps!

Don't worry, this is a great place to ask, especially since a lot of the Skyrim roleplayers on Tumblr follow SC. The community is a bit hard to find at first, because it's very individually run. There was a directory at one point, but I don't think it was ever completed.
If you'd like, you can message me (the mod) privately and I can help you get started with some tips and pointers, as I RP in the community, also. We're all very kind people, and usually a few signal boosts for your character attract attention from some, if not most of the community right away.
