I wish we would all talk about Nico and Lycoan more often. The possibility that Nico went through lycanthropy. The beef between Nico and Lycoan in general. Lycoan haunting all of his nightmares.

The possibility of Nico wondering why hes growing more hair on his arms and legs and wondering “am I a werewolf or am I just 14? I guess we’ll find out the next full moon”.

Just the general horror of Nico turning into a werewolf. Nico actually becoming a monster. Hes always struggled with other people seeing him as a monster before and now that’s he’s actually technically a monster. How would the others (minus Reyna and Hazel) treat him? Cause you know he’d be terrified of them treating him worse.

The possibility that Nico may not be able to pass through the border of camp halfblood anymore. Someone would have to give him permission to let him through. He’d have to ask someone. From the Greek camp. Someone he’s not all that close with. To let him inside. Because he can’t get through. And of course that someone would start asking a bunch of questions that Nico doesn’t know how to answer is too afraid to answer.

Of course he’ll try to hide that he’s a werewolf for as long as he possibly can because that’s just who he is as a character. But how would he explain the border? Or would he just shadow travel inside. Despite him being so out of shape at the end of BoO. I doubt he could do that so soon after the war. Maybe later on he could shadow travel in and out after he heals but.

There’s so much angst potential for werewolf Nico I don’t understand why it’s rarely ever talked about.

Lycoan (Weylyn's dad) looks at his son, a hand placing itself on his shoulder.

"I can't believe you fell in love with someone like me, Weylyn," he says with a chuckle, "I was like MC too when I was your age!"

"Oh gods." Weylyn groans and smiles. "Though I'm glad they enjoy mom's cooking."

"Son, no one can resist her cooking."

Weylyn sighs, shoulders slumping just a tad bit. "True. Guess I have to beat her to win MC and Emery back."

I find it kinda silly that Nico gets aligned with vampirism way more than lycanthropy considering vampires don’t exist in riordanverse and Nico’s had a close encounter and been mauled by the flipping Werewolf King Lycoan and he’s Italian teenage boy (hairy) that would have to shave his face two or three times a day not even as a werewolf just for it to be smooth shadow most of the time. I just find it way more likely for him to have werewolf allegations rather than vampire. (Weather he’s a werewolf or not really. Maybe he gets lazy or too busy for shaving his face sometimes).

(Don’t get me wrong I like vampire Nico in aus and stuff or even in cannon somehow ok I like vampire Nico. Nothing wrong with it. It’s just that Werewolf Nico makes way more sense to me and it’s not as popular as vampire Nico it’s not even equal and I just don’t get that. Werewolf Nico deserves more attention).

First post is also the first art I did for this site :P. I did this for http://askmisszion.tumblr.com/ trying to help one of her characters out of a funk. And maybe to get my character and art in her amassing story (Let's just keep that part between us, K?) The top picture is just a reference to draw off later, the lower picture is my character collapsing in front of Jacob. Here is to hoping she uses it. For the art I hand drew it then took a picture and colored it with seashore. This was my first time both using seashore and using a computer to color my art so I am kind of proud with how it came out.

Now for a bit about me. Some of you may notice my character has wolf ears. This is because I have goten in the habit of wearing brainwave sensing nekomimi in real life. I replaced the white ears the nekomimi come with for a pair of wolf looking ears. As some of you may guess, I am a bit of a spaz. I tend to do things that are fun even if it is not the most expectable thing for a 19 year old college student to do. If anyone notices any grammar mistakes in this, then that is another thing you should know about me, I have the vocabulary of someone who has been reading college level books since the 5th grade -and I have- but the spelling and grammar skills of said 5th grader. I tend to type out in my speaking voice so expect things like geten, ya (such as, what ya want not to be confused with ya as in yes), na, k, and the like. I am also a big gamer so ya, expect gaming stuff if I ever bother to post more.

I wanted to throw my paintings together into one post since everything is all done!  These images tell the story of Lycoan, the King of Arcadia who tried to feed Zeus human flesh.  I made this based off a printed version of the myth, but there's a small bit about it here.
